I was able to return my first computer within the 60 days and got a full return and then able to purchase a second computer in which I was very happy with the second computer. The protection worked well with all things transferred at no additional cost.

I like to have peace of mind when buying an expensive tech product.

We have used this service for a long time and must say that it does come in handy, The most recent was my wife's laptop was goin crazy and the Geek Squad took over her device remotely and fixed the issues causing the program. The included a "tune-up" and now her laptop is running smooth and fast.

I bought this as I was afraid with opening and closing a laptop might invite more issues than with a computer. Thankfully I have not had to use it; but this did cover other issues I had with different items, given they were purchased at Best Buy

I would give 5 stars but we were misguided when we bought total tech under Beta when it first came out. We were told once we bought the item it was covered under best buy and no limit like 2 years after purchase its no longer covered. We were told after the manufacter warranty ran out best buy kicked in for 3 years. We had to use it twice, once on air pods and once on a computer. We had to use the 2 year apple care a couple times.

Had to return twice, but saved me out of a complete data loss!

Amazing computer very fast and sufficient. My Daughter loves it for school.

I haven't used it so far but love the idea I have extra protection. I did inquire about their help moving my files from my old computer and they said it would take 3 days so I bought a Solid State External driver instead and moved everything in less than 30 min.

Protection plans are very beneficial. Get them with your device purchases.

I'm replacing my X17 R1 with this M17 R5. The audio is better on the M17. Even though the X17 has more speakers, the sound is not good. I tried a couple of AAA games on it and it stays cool under load. I did get it at a steep discount via open box--not sure if I'd pay full price for it.

Computer is still running very well no need to upgrade yet I will come to best buy when its time to up grade.

Far better than Dell Premium Support. I had a Dell gaming computer that started trouble 1 mo. after hardware warranty expired. Dell said the video card was bad. I bought a new Lenovo from Best Buy. Then added this Geek Squad support dropped the Dell off as they covered it next day I picked it up running like a top great to see it was not a hardware issue but Dell Premium could not find the issue twice.....

I love the Best Buy plan. It's easy to file a claim and resolve the issue. Either you get a replacement device or a store credit. It's good peace of mind.
