With all the electronics individuals, families, and companies use these days why wouldn't you protect them. The cost of the protection for all my Best Buy purchased devices is worth every penny. The Geek Squad staff are friendly and thorough.

Laptop appears to be perfect for my soon to be college student. Speed and screen size was just right.

The people at best buy are super helpful. When my laptop broke, I came in and the immediately replaced it. I would recommend buying this just in case, as you never know what will happen.

All i got to say is that with electronics being more expensive and fancier by the day it is an absolute must to have this! So that no matter what happens, youre covered!

Brought my laptop purchased in May 2025 due to repeat issues. Was told there is nothing they can do and they need to send it in to the manufacturer. Now I am without a laptop for 3-4 weeks. This is not acceptable I pay for my best by total and to not have access to my laptop which is not even a year old for such a long time is ridiculous. I would not consider this "VIP" member support in any way.

The protection came in handy after purchase of my new laptop which has a flaky Ethernet connector port. They diagnosed quickly and professionally.

I did NOT cancel my TOTALTECH plan. $199/yr That is the best insurance plan I have ever seen. ALL I DID WAS EXCHANGE A COMPUTER....keeping the plan. Please someone straighten this out. thanks

When buying a product from BEST BUY, get the extend warranty. It's the best thing especially if you have more than one computer in the household that qualify for fixing.

I think it's always a good idea to purchase Monthly Best Buy Protection plan, especially for a laptop. They can easily be stolen and dropped.
