The laptop I bought this for actually killed itself within 3 days so I was under 30 day return period but I'm still happy to have this as a backup for my new laptop in case something else goes wrong.

I think it's always a good idea to purchase Monthly Best Buy Protection plan, especially for a laptop. They can easily be stolen and dropped.

Having a protection plan on any product you buy can be a blessing in disguise. Just make sure it is not an intentional break to your product or it will not be covered of course.

What I call a no-brainer. Was free with my Total Tech membership. A solid reason to become a member. I have had no issues with repair/replace support when it was needed.

The coverage that the insurance gives is very good for what you pay for! if you pair it with the total tech membership you save a lot of money with 24 months of free insurance!

I always buy the protection plan because you never know when you'll need it! It has come im handy in the past with products I've purchases in the past.

When I purchased a new laptop I thought surely I want to protect this item for as long as possible. So I bought the extended monthly protection. I am happy that I have not needed it but I am even happier that I have it.

I have not had an issue with my computer yet, but it is nice to know there is an actual brick and mortar location I can go if/when a problem occurs. I don't like that there are less and less Microsoft brick and mortar stores. I like to be able to take my computer somewhere instead of having to figure out how to ship. One the other hand, I've had mixed results with the Geek squad in the past with previous computers. I do think it a bit spendy, and I do not think it is fair that we have to continue to purchase an overpriced membership to continue to get the "up to 2 years" protection. If I knew of a better, fairer option for me I think I would explore it.
