I'm not sure if this is for the product or the service so I'll write this about the laptop associated with this. A $1400 Spectre laptop. Crashed twice within the first week or two. Blue screen. Expected better for that much money. Awesome laptop, but extremely disappointed by that.

Purchased the Total Tech 2 year package as a substitute for the Lenovo extended warranty. Later, found out the price $199 per year, not for 2 years. Also found the Lenovo extended warranty MUCH less expensive and available for a longer time. Total Tech is worth the price if you intend to use it frequently or for big items like appliances. Also, if you need tech support, which I don't. Nevertheless, I will use it to cover labor on installing a new battery on friend's MacBook - a tricky procedure. May also use it to get a discount on having a smoker grill assembled.

Has slowed down and hasn’t even been 4 weeks or so. Very disappointed on the evo chip. Coming from a person who’s very productive and knows his IT. I would buy at the Black Friday price point of 799.99 not the regular price

have not used the protection plan yet. hoping its as good as they make it seem to be. definitely recommend to get some form of coverage for you items tho.

I haven't needed to use it, but it seems like a good value for the amount of devices and protections it covers.

unfortunately this is a negative review. I had purchased 2 of the Samsung Galaxy 360 ,the first one was on Dec 15th it had some issues and I was informed by a Best Buy associate that I had 90 days to do a return. So I purchased the same exact model on Jan 16th as well as buying the Best Buy protection for future issues just incase I then went home and pulled my info from my original one and put on my new one, I then 3 days took the defect back for credit. Unfortunately the credit was given on my new unit and I was unaware of this as I assumed it was done correctly. I since then had an issues and was told my protection was removed with the incorrect credit because the best buy person looked through my purchase history and chose the most recent one insted of the one that failed the month prior. After 3 hours on phone and in store I am told I was not refunded the protection but my computer is not covered. Unfortunately there error and my not having original receipt is gong to cost me for the repairs and maybe future ones if needed. I feel this service should be on my unit as it was their error on choosing wrong purchase date.

Can’t access my sccpunt—Geek squad cant fix, customer service guy in Panama couldnt fix, and now I have to try and fix with “help desk”. Completely unacceptable

I bought a Samsung laptop with a touch screen. Within a couple months the touch screen quit working. Took it into Best Buy and they couldn't help me with fixing it. I had to disconnect the touchscreen feature in order for the computer to work properly.

Love the total tech wish it help weight with store manager

There has not been a need to use this plan thus far. I certainly hope when I do, it is all it is supposed to be.

It looks amazing but the fan ran nearly constantly. Even while web browsing and in “silent” mode. In “performance” mode it also throttled.

194+ dollars was added to my account without my authorization

This is a good insurance, because most of the new products are not built sturdy enough to take a regular even carefull usage - it's a bit pricey, but worth it !

The protection plan is is good, but sometimes difficult to decipher. It’s still a pretty penny to get equipment fixed.

This hasn't covered hardly anything since they change the system.
