Used to be great about 10 years ago, they actually fixed my PC multiple times, now the answer to any issues is always oh it's not worth fixing just buy a new device, even if you computer is only 2- 3 years old.Not sure why we have this.

Its a cool laptop but totally not worth the price. If you're playing a game and accidentally touch the second screen it messes your game up . The second screen really isnt as cool as i imagined it would have been. You cant even draw on it and it doesnt let you have the choice to use it as a touch screen keyboard which i think would be totally awesome. Also the mouse pad is bulky and you have to be right handed to use it

Good to add on a gift so if it breaks you aren’t the one fixing it

Honestly, the best thing about this was the included Apple Care Coverage. The downside to that is that they tend to only sell lower spec Apple devices. Also, the warranty talks about AHD (accidental damage handling), yet they never explicitly say it does not cover TVs, and they don’t tell you that when you’re buying the TV. I literally just went through this with them and all they would offer was to order me a panel that was more than the TV and waive the installation fees. There are competing stores that give you these types of warranties for free and they don’t require a payment every year to stay in the club. Also, this program was a lot better, until they realized they were losing their shirt and decided to give it the reward zone treatment by scaling back the benefits. So, do yourself a favor and just say no to this product, it is a false sense of security that isn’t worth your time.

Got 2 year lsptop warranty free with Total Tech membership. Total Tech costs $200 yearly but if you buy a lot of electronics or really expensive warranty it pays for itself. There's more to Total Tech but this is a warranty review.

I don't know why Best Buy talked me into this. All they know how to do is back up a hard drive on an external, sell that to you and sell you a new computer. They certainly don't know how to fix a new TV they sold you and they have 1-800 robots for costumer service team. You can't even contact the store and talk to a person and you don't get the same person who has a clue what going on every time you try to get some help.

I dislike the monthly fee instead of one fee upfront. It no longer includes internet security. Computers no longer include the Microsoft Office suite. We the People are getting less for more money with each passing year. There is no immediate setup help in the store. The codes to set up are printed on the receipt that in my case cut off part of the code. The computer itself is an HP and they still have not fixed problems that were present in 2012.

I have been unimpressed by the quality of service that I have received from Geek Squad. Had to bring back my brand new high end HP laptop twice and it still doe's not work as well as it should. text and phone support, well below average. I was in the business, so I know what service that I should be getting.

In my opinion the protection plan is overpriced and will be cancelling and not renewing the plan. For the price, and for the record I've never had to have a computer repaired, I just don't think it's worth the money for me personally.

Just like the photo. I spilled coffee on my new laptop. The $600 repair was $99 for deductible and the repair took less than 2 weeks despite the fact the repair was made in Kewntcky and I live in CA

Expensive. Likely worth it, but a pretty penny for something I haven’t necessarily used.

I do recommend, however, I’ve seen a lot of customers purchase this and it ends before the customer is able to use it.

Have not had to use it. So far seems like a good program. Glad I purchased it.

no point in the protection if the staff refuses to help you. worst customer service ever. tried to diagnose whats wrong w my brand new laptop. no luck i was told i couldn't be helped the two ladies behind me could tho who were ten and 20 min after me. and the other 4 people meanwhile i waited in like for 20 25 min prior to even being greeted by the lady at geek squad, which btw appt only for service even if its "dropping it off" for malfunctions even tho u run a business with is and can only do it on weekends ect. they do not care the most rude people ive ever met with in a store like this. McDonalds has better service and thats really saying something

Protection plans are not something we normally buy. Bit, we bought this to cover our computers and our grandsons new one. Great value because they already helped setup his gaming!

Had a problem that took too long to review in my opinion. Second guessing purchase.

This policy is not worth the paper that it is written on. Took my 45 day old computer that cost around $1600.00 in to get fixed only to find out they could not get the part needed (the charger was bad). They kept it for over 2 weeks before I insisted that they send it back. They kept saying that the part was on back order and had no date for it come in. I called the manufacturer and they told me that they would have me one here in 2 - 3 business days. I will be asking for all of the money that I payed for the plan
