I purchased the total tech coverage with the range & microwave that I bought together. I not only got the extra protection, but I also got free delivery, setup & they took the old items. It also paid for the installation of the microwave. I saved several hundred dollars on the total cost.

Skeptical about this. Was not told warranty on products ends after 1 year if you do not renew. Was not told their is a service fee either

It’s good if you are only going to buy a lot of products otherwise you still have to pay for most services done by Geek squad

Have not needed to use this service yet. Hoping when we do it will be as quick and easy as they said it would be.

The protection plan is a great option for long term coverage.

Overall I like to make my purchase's with best buy. However, this purchuse of my dishwasher was a nightmare. I had 6 delivery dates 3 exchanges and about at least 7 phone call and some calls where never return after leaving a message.

Please, please, please, do not buy this service if you think you are getting protection. When I first purchased it was sold as a great service plus free delivery, etc... On a subsequent purchase they had updated and removed most of those good benefits. Now I am having an issue with the LG Range and it is $85 to get them in the door and my appointment is a month out. That is an entire month without an over while I wait for service. Use their financing but don't rely on their "total" care.

The first Cafe Over the Range Microwave in Platinum black was broken and had to be replaced. After 10 months of use, the replacement microwave started taking the finish off of my cabinets. The GE repair person said that the microwave recirculating vents are venting up into the cabinet and that is the way it is designed and the only way to stop this is to pump the microwave out and redo the venting system above the microwave. I have been using microwaves now for at least 30 years and I have never seen anything like this. I paid a fortune for this microwave and it doesn't work properly and plus now I have to worry about having my cabinets repaired. I sure would love a refund. The GE appliance repair person said that Best Buy did not install it correctly and should have warned me about this prior to installing it.

Prior to purchasing this support, you’ve got to ask what does “up to 24 months mean/look like for the products being purchased”? As it is, the company can and will cancel your policy without warning/notice. This leaves you with no protection for the high-priced item. When your item begins to experience issues 12 months in—there’s no guarantee that the coverage is there. So disappointing!

great product and you get a discount on mostly anything that is bought thru the website

Protection plans are great for piece of mind, but typically not worth the cost.

Someone named Maria Ana Amaya cancelled our delivery and install for today 12/23 for no reason. The delivery window was 3p-7p per email as of this morning. We don't know if we will every receive our paid for dishwasher and microwave. BB doesn't want to fix their error and deliver today as scheduled. Tomorrow at the latest is the only possible resolution.
