    Totaltech is 199 per year if you want to extend coverage of an item its an additional cost ontol lf 199. I was not able to grt confirmation on tbe cost plus thrre is a 99 dollar deductible on tv repairs. Stick with the GSP 5 year unless you buy a lot of items from bestbuy or apple prodocuts. Then apple care cost makes sensez

    Received a broken TV. Because I chose to pickup instead of delivery, I was blamed for the break of the screen from a clearly prior opened box that had been taped back. I should have opened tv box before leaving store.

    Bring Back Paid Warranties for 4+ Year Coverage!

    Best Buy protection is great as free via Tota Tech Support. Not being able to pay for 4 year coverage is insane though.

    Could be a stronger policy. Very restrictive rules and you are charged an additional service charge.

    Paid for Itself with the first TV install

    Prompt delivery of new TV. Service provided delivery only not help with set up. One of the two staff only spoke Spanish. Had to call Geek Squad to request additional help setting up sound bar next week...

    already helped get my info transferred from my old laptop to my new as I wasn't sure how to do it correctly. The tech was wonderful and knew what she was doing. She had me up and running in no time.

    When you spend a lot of money on items for your home you want to make sure they last and if anything goes wrong with them you want to make sure they will be fixed. The extra little policy is great.

    Bad Experience with Beta Plan

    I am gravely disappointed in the Beta plan. There is zero coordination between Best Buy and the Geek Squad. I have spent $4,000 recently on tv’s and when I go back in for what is to be a free visit the Best Buy employees are clueless on what is covered on my Beta plan. I was told I had free adjustments and service for anything bought at Best Buy. I need a security strap and Best Buy does not carry them for a 75” tv. I am forced to buy one elsewhere and now I can not get the Geek Squad out without a charge. I have had nothing but problems since my first experience. I would like to know if I can exchange the Beta program for a five year warranty since no one really understands the program. Can someone please contact me or email me. I am losing faith in Best Buy and this program your employees are quick to sell need to understand what they are selling. I have a PHD in research and this plan has issues.

    It used to be better but now that they changed so much of the benefits they took away ALOT of the little things most people need help with. Also if you buy this when you buy any product it ONLY covers the product you bought on that day. They won’t touch anything else you have in your house.

    I would rate this whatever they want to call it protection plan HORRIBLE. LG has been out to my home 3X with a replacement board that did not fit Then comes Best Buy that told me it was not a problem if my TV can not process future firmware updates. End of story So don’t get talked into this at checkout. Unit is covered my manufacturer for 1 year If you don’t cancel subscription or card get ready for a charge on your card that the Bestbuy Total costs each year and auto renews. Just saying. Been buying from them for years. They should know better than getting loyal customers to sign up for such nonsense

    I'm o grad that I purchased this plan. The Geek Squad Greg and Garrick were awesome to work with. They set everything up quickly and efficiently so that I could enjoy my new TV.

    The guys at Geek Squad were great! Very knowledgeable, polite, friendly, and even wore shoe covers when inside my home! Thank you guys for the great service.

    When I purchase my Samsung TV at the Rogers Best Buy I was told that becoming a totaltech would protect my purchase including the remote. Now the remote is failing and I find that the service I've been paying for to cover my purchase is a LIE. PEOPLE BEWARE OF THE LIES THIS PLACE WILL TELL
