    What a waist of money if I have to pay on top of that over 100.00 when they come to fix my TV to connect my Speaker that I bought from them and both are protected

    Geek Squad installed my television without any issues and was very thorough and explained what they did. Very personable technicians and I was very please with the install. The television has amazing picture quality for the price.

    I am happy to know my products are protected for 24 months even though I have not used the service yet.

    Nicer if your a Total Connect Member already

    The protection plan is a nice addition if your a Total Tech Member since you get up to 2 years protection with an active plan. Otherwise is ok as a one stop plan.

    The protection plan offers piece of mine. The problem is getting a quick service call visit. And the overseas call centers are awful. Only book 2 weeks out.

    From my research, Best Buy has some of the better protection plans for electronics and especially for things like TVs (worrying about burn-in on OLEDs, etc.). I usually don't purchase the added protection plans, but I'm happy so far with this plan. Recommended!

    When I purchase my Samsung TV at the Rogers Best Buy I was told that becoming a totaltech would protect my purchase including the remote. Now the remote is failing and I find that the service I've been paying for to cover my purchase is a LIE. PEOPLE BEWARE OF THE LIES THIS PLACE WILL TELL

    Bring Back Paid Warranties for 4+ Year Coverage!

    Best Buy protection is great as free via Tota Tech Support. Not being able to pay for 4 year coverage is insane though.

    Totaltech is 199 per year if you want to extend coverage of an item its an additional cost ontol lf 199. I was not able to grt confirmation on tbe cost plus thrre is a 99 dollar deductible on tv repairs. Stick with the GSP 5 year unless you buy a lot of items from bestbuy or apple prodocuts. Then apple care cost makes sensez

    Cracked 98” tv… not covered - bait and switch

    They’ll tell you accidental damage is covered, but when you file a claim, it turns out the plan I got with my 98” TV and new oven doesn’t apply because it only covers mobile devices. They give you the run around and then say there is nothing else they can do. If they don’t hang up on you. Bad bad bad.

    They couldn't replace a broken remote

    I bought the expensive 85 inch Neo QLED 8k TV and on top of that I paid $200 for Total Tech support. The remote on the TV doesn't have replaceable battery. The remote stopped charging after 10 months. And I couldn't operate the TV. I spent hours on the phone and also had someone come to my home to troubleshoot. They recommended me to go to the store and said I will get a replacement remote. I went to the store and they still couldn't replace my remote after so many days and spending so much time on this issue. The service is not at all useful.

    Prompt delivery of new TV. Service provided delivery only not help with set up. One of the two staff only spoke Spanish. Had to call Geek Squad to request additional help setting up sound bar next week...
