I have found that this plan has more than paid for itself. From covering installation of upgrades on a computer. I bought a year ago to troubleshooting devices that would normally require being shipped back to the manufacturer, the Best Buy 24 month product protection plan has taken care of everything and made it very simple to do so. Just a shout out to the fact that as a Best Buy Total member, this protection plan comes free on most items I’ve purchased from Best Buy. And is active up to 24 months as long as you remain a member, It’s worth every penny.

We always get the protection plans. It pays off more often than not. It’s peace of mind in an otherwise stressful and chaotic world. Haha

Bought a panasonic 4k player open box when they remodeled the magnolia in my area, and after a while( around a year and a half) it started to skip, freeze, and become pixelated. Took it in to geek squad, was told it would be sent out to be repaired or replaced, the turn around time was actually pretty fast. My only gripe would be there was a diagnostic/deposit that I was charged, it was still cheaper than having to buy a new unit.

Overall if you shop at best buy often and purchase any electronics from them the best buy total is the way to go. I purchased a HP computer, opened it and was able to exchange it with no problem. I was even able to get information from my old device moved to the new one even though the screen was not working.

Great insurance in case you need it fixed, if not fixable you could get a replacement

I highly recommend the best buy protection plan! Easy auto renewal yearly and most of our purchases are eligible to be added

I purchased an expensive HP business printer at Best Buy that very uncharacteristically died on me just a few months after the warranty ended. Luckily, I purchased Best Buy’s extended warranty which saved me from having to spend $700 on a replacement HP Color LaserJet printer. Best Buy replaced my printer with a newer model HP printer of the same caliber and I couldn’t be happier. Extended warranties are well worth it when purchasing more expensive equipment.

I sell insurance and I need my computer to work, if I have a small issue or a large one, the protection plan helps me anytime. I make an appointment and they work out the quirks and also take the time to teach me something that will simplify issues if they come up. I don't love the chat, I have tried to use it multiple times but I am not comfortable with it and things don't get worked out so I make the appointment and find the time to go. The Geeks at my Roseville and Los Angeles store are Awesome.
