Monthly Best Buy Protection (up to 24 mo.)
Q: What is the maximum coverage term for this Best Buy Protection plan?
A: The maximum coverage term for this plan is 24 months.
Q: Is this a monthly or annual Best Buy Protection plan?
A: This is a monthly Best Buy Protection plan.
Q: What type of protection does this plan offer?
A: This plan offers accidental damage protection.
Q: How do I cancel this subscription?
A: Go online and pic your "plans and subscriptions" and select your total tech plan and select cancel.
Q: Does this plan cover the SE 3 apple watch I purchased in December 2025?
A: If you were a plan holder before or enrolled at the time of purchase your warranty period is doubled and for an Apple watch that is likely 2 years! So you should be covered; however, usually their is a link between Best Buy and Apple with this coverage so you should go to an Apple Store and have them look up the Serial Number to verify coverage. I got a defective i-pad replaced that I bought at Best Buy at the Apple Store but I think you have to sign-up for the Apple coverage within the first 30 days and their may be a bump up charge for replacement and time extension.
Q: Does a household product have to be purchased from BestBuy to qualify for coverage?
A: Obvioulsy you have to buy it Through Best Buy - In Store or On-line directly from Best Buy to get Total Tech coverage. No secondary vendors qualify so if your a total tech member and you are shopping for electronics or appliances check the price from direct to consumer from manufacturer's website, then Amazon, and finally Best Buy and almost always Best Buy wins. If the price is lower somewhere else Print Out the current price and take it to Best Buy and buy it there to get the lowest price and total tech protection.
A: Think about it. If you bought a 100,000 mile extended warranty & the manufacturers warranty was for 10,000 miles, I'd your extended warranty still good? Unless they sent your money back, you're covered...
A: This is an item quality issue rather than warranty feature so you would have to return it within the 30 to 60 day period for a new replacement. Keeping it a long time now puts it into a full failure coverage mode for coverage to be valid. So, if you buy a dud - even if you don't think the quality is as expected from advertisement like poor keyboards just return it right away and switch to a higher quality product. Don't keep poor quality items - this may be one of the Best No-questions asked coverages that I enjoy and I've had to use it one vacuum cleaners and dirt cheap air fryers.
