...you pay for it and hope you never have to use it. I usually don't go for extended warranties but, if it's new (to me) tech, I'll sometimes pull that trigger. Since you never get any kind of owner's manual any more, the chance of doing something you shouldn't do rises. This gives you a bit of peace of mind when you get a new 'toy'.

This seems to be a good support mechanism for standing behind the products being sold.

Its very compact and does the job. It is smaller than I expected but obviously the digital function is up to date.

MY very new computer stopped working had a weird screen because I opened an app the Geek squad had left on my computer when they fixed it remotely, It had to be brought to the store in Torrance, the guy on the phone said they could fix it that night. Turned out not only could they not fix it that night, but I couldn't even leave it there I had to bring it back the next day where it took I believe 13 days to get fixed. I had to have everything reloaded, I don't remember if I had to pay more for that but it took way longer. Finally get it home, they had left drivers out, it took working with microsoft agents over time to finally get it working somewhat like it was. A frigging nightmare.

Always enjoy having BestBuy protection when I can.

Its good if you break you device but the geek squad is not that great. I took my computer for data to be transferred to my new device and nothing was transferred being left there for 3 days. It was disappointing I took it home and did it myself in 1 hour.

I have the Best buy Total plan and It helps in some ways, but in others it's lacking. I wish it still had more of the features that it used to have which made well it worth it. I'm not sure I would recommend it as much as I used to.

Anything I buy from Best Buy is protected and I like this because I won’t have an issue getting help or installing

So far everything has worked, so have not had to use this. I considered it a good value anyway

Hp laptop similar to my older one. Had issue with hooking up my printer. BB took care of.

What i dont like is, we suppose to have a geek squad to take our items to repair but still they have to send them to another place for repair or parts

Terrible. Please go anywhere else other than Best Buy. The Magnolua/Geek Squad/ whatever all are terrible. Best Buy is no longer the company it was 20 years ago. The company truly could care less about its customers and the management at the store level has admitted that Best Buy lies and does not live up to their promises. Try speaking with corporate to resolve issues and they try selling you their CitiBank credit card and more warranties. It is all a scam. I have text messages, call records, recordings, signed papers, etc. that show how Best Buy constantly abuses customers’ trust. Buy directly from LG. Do not buy appliances from Best Buy! Buy Samsung tvs either from Samsung, Big Screen Store, or Amazon. Do not trust tv or home theater set-up through Best Buy. You will be sorry in the end!
