THIS IS A SCAM. They promise a 2-year protection IF YOU STAY ACTIVE which is at least $200 per year. So $400 for the two-year protection. They sold me $1000 of equipment and told me the warranty was for 2-years for $179, including access to Geek Squad. I thought for $179, this was worth it because Geek Squad help would be a minimum of $149. However, they did not indicate that I would be charged this amount AGAIN in one year.....so nearly $360 on $1000 of purchases, THAT IS 36%....more than APR if you were to finance this. NO SENSE and this is not what I was sold. This is fraud, bait and switch, and truly bad business and customer service. Even the website does not describe clearly the Total Membership. They say you have dedicated customer service which is not true. They have a call center in Panama where there are no Best Buys. I have been a customer for more than 25 years, and while I enjoy actually speaking with humans, it will be more effective through Amazon or ABT, etc... then the awful service of Best Buy. Also, those venues are less expensive.

Discontinued support on all my grandfathered devices purchased at Best Buy when my credit card had to be changed after a hacked card was replaced - very disappointed in the value after paying for this since 2020 and the customer care. Additionally the coverage is decreasing more and more year on year

just like insurance I hope I don't need it but if I do I'm sure it will be worth it

Have not had to use it yet but in my experience best buy has the best warrantys you can buy

While it is a good plan i had issues as it keeps auto renewing even after cancellation. I called Customer service twice and they cancelled it twice but don’t know what is happening. For Best Buy- it is a nice store and I buy everything from there only. A not happy not sad customer
