I have the Monthly Best Buy Protection Plan, and it has been well worth every penny. One time, I had to replace a small damaged Canon camera worth about $450. I was out of town for a destination wedding, but Best Buy in Arizona (far from my hometown) looked me up on their computer and got me a new one pronto. The Protection plan provides a fabulous peace of mind, too. I just purchased several items for my son's new apartment, and I know that he can always go straight to Best Buy with any issues.

I bought a new tablet this past winter from Best Buy. The support has been amazing. When I couldn’t get my tablet to do something, I called and was helped immediately And, the tech didn’t make me feel like a complete idiot. I would recommend this store just for the Geek Squad support, but their customer service is also extremely good, even on busy days.

I loved my Bella Pro Series 12 cup programmable coffee maker until the disc holding in the spring on the removable filter holder disappeared and now I cannot use the coffeemaker. I emailed Bella and they said they do not offer replacement parts for this item. This will be the last Bella Pro Series coffe maker that I will buy.

This is actually a dual review because as part of the perks for our Annual Tech Support Membership, we get monthly protection for certain products we purchase. These days, something extra is worth a lot, because you never know when a device might fail. When it does, that's when the Geeksquad and your monthly protection can be invaluable. I'd like to say I've never had to use either, but the truth is, I have used both and often. And having the protection of a team working to keep me happy is priceless. All I have to know is how to hand over my devices and say, "Make it work, please!" and I'm covered.
