Many years ago I bought a PC at Best Buy and the GeekSquad addition. When I started having major problems with it I took it in three times to have it fixed and each time “It’s all fixed”. Drove home to Colville and it was exactly as I took it in. Same then second time. The 3rd time when I picked it up I made the tech hook it up to a monitor and they goofed again. This time I got thee store manager involved, got my money back, canceled my GeekSquad subscription, went home and spent a day or two fixing it myself. I hope service is better now. I rated GeekSquad now (2023) a 3 star to start because when I was looking at TVs and sound systems I was told technician installation was free because I bought the maintenance plan yet I think there was about a $100 charge to install my new Samsung TV and sound bar. Kindly refund the money if that charge was in error or if I ‘m crazy. I didn’t get help with understanding all the remotes I’m hoping to get help setting up my new BestBuy iMac Laptop as two months later I am stuck. Kindly advise as I also have an OLD iMac, iPhone and iPad to synchronize with the IMac Laptop too. I gave average ratings because of the TV installation costs.I’ll update as I use the service more.

I pay one time a year and get my product protection waived and it is 24/7 365 days! I Love it! Peace of mind if something goes wrong I just call and either get phone help or an appointment for help with product any electronics even if I didn’t buy it here!

These techs go out of their way to make sure we are okay, and that our problems are solved immediately. I'm so thankful I spent the extra cash.

We are now going on our 2nd year as a Total Tech Members with Best Buy The annual fee has been saved many times over with discounts and other services to include several product replacements. We are very pleased with the Program.

I bought this for my PS5, and so far it works great. I haven't noticed if it's necessarily faster than the internal ssd, but it is definitely on par. A great way to expand your storage, and installing it really isn't that difficult. Just make sure you have the right size screwdriver.

At the end of the day most of our products go bad due to normal wear and tear, which unfortunately the manufacturer warranty doesn’t cover… but this does!! Also most in store associates can help fulfill this coverage

The warranty has come in handle a few times. It’s definitely a pieces of mind knowing that your purchases will be covered. And the discounts you can get on items.

I love the fact that my purchases are instantly covered. I've only had to utilize the plan once so far, but the process was simple enough. There is a scaled fee, which isn't too bad.

Knowing your product is going to be covered if there are issues is nice

Worked great until it stopped working. It was smooth and efficient at first but after some months it started to give some trouble. They had it on sale when i got it and it was a good deal though.

This is perfect for my teenage son! He loves it and the shipping was quick.
