I returned it because it stopped charging after owning it only 8 months. I have the Best Buy protection plan. They asked me to bring the vacuum and charger into the store for the Geek squad to look at. However, when I arrived I was told that they do not attempt to repair vacuums and that I would receive a store credit. I knew that I bought the vacuum on sale so I really wanted an exchange. I was told that was not an option. I handed over my Dyson and received the purchase price in Best Buy gift cards. The vacuum itself had a 2 year guarantee but now I find myself having to spend an additional $160 along with the gift cards to receive the same vacuum. I'm so frustrated that I handed my vacuum over. I think I may have been able to exchange the vacuum directly with Dyson from the research that I've completed. The vacuum was great while it worked and I would buy the exact same one again, if I could get it for the same price and not have to spend more dollars. I cant risk buying it again and having it stop working before a year so I will be choosing a different vacuum.
