I’m very happy with my Best Buy Protection Plan. It gives me peace of mind knowing my purchase is covered for accidents, defects, and technical issues. The claims process was straightforward, and customer service was helpful. Definitely worth it for any electronics purchase.

I get the Best Buy monthly protection plan as part of my Total membership which makes it an easy yes for covering my laptop TV and a few other gadgets without any extra hassle and it paid off big time when I accidentally cracked my laptop screen after a year they fixed it fast for just a small fee and I was back up and running. The coverage picks up seamlessly after the manufacturers warranty handling normal breakdowns power surges and even some accidental damage depending on the item and since its tied to my membership I can protect multiple devices up to 24 months under one simple plan. They come to the house for big stuff like TVs which saves me the headache of lugging heavy gear around and the workmanship guarantee means if a repair fails soon after its on them to make it right. My phone battery started acting up one day and they swapped it out same day no questions asked which kept my day on track. Yeah there are deductibles on some claims and not every mishap qualifies but for the low monthly cost baked into Total and the real savings Ive already seen from quick fixes it delivers way more value than I expected keeping my tech reliable without the worry.

3 turns it into a high quality theater experience

I’ve had decent home theater systems most of my life, so I’m pretty picky about sound. When the original Echo Studio came out, it was actually the first time I “downgraded” in the home theater department. The original Studios with an Echo Sub were awesome for music, but the movie/TV experience always felt a little underwhelming compared to a real surround system. When the 2025 Echo Studio showed up, it honestly caught me by surprise because I hadn’t been following the news on it. I bought one and, in a one‑on‑one comparison, the old Studio still sounded better to me. The original has more weight and character, and I still think it wins if you’re just judging a single speaker for music. The reason I kept the 2025 model was the promise of the new Alexa Home Theater update that lets you link up to five of these plus a sub instead of just two. I traded one of my older Studios for another 2025 and tried a two‑speaker setup with the sub. Even then, my original Studio + Sub combo still felt like the better overall setup. Everything changed when I added a third 2025 Echo Studio. Three of these in a home theater configuration is a total game changer. The front soundstage opens up, dialogue is clearer, and the overall movie experience finally feels like a proper surround system instead of just “smart speakers near the TV.” What really surprised me is how nice it is to keep one of my older Echo Studios in the mix just for music. Running three of the new 2025s for home theater and the older Studio for music (in another zone) is a very enjoyable setup. I get the Atmos/spatial audio benefits and better integration with Fire TV on the new models, while still enjoying the richer character of the original for pure listening. If you’re coming from the first‑gen Echo Studio and you’re only buying one, you might still prefer the old sound. But if you’re willing to run three 2025 Studios together, they finally deliver the kind of home theater experience that makes the upgrade worth it.

I have been a loyal shopper at Best Buy and since they added the Membership and protection; I can't see myself ever choosing another place to buy my tvs, appliances, gaming setups etc., or computer products. I even bought my son a scooter from Best Buy to get him around at a big college campus. I can say I don't think I have ever bought and item I am disappointed with from Best Buy. In the years and years of shopping there, I've only had to use Protection on a couple of products; I used, and they either fixed the item, or exchanged it for a new one, and then the protection on the new item started over! They have convinced me they are loyal to their customers by offering protection for 24 months, and that's just starting out! You can extend protection small fees month to month if you wish on more expensive items. I love this feature.

    Great printer

I’ve been using the Epson EcoTank printer for a while now, and overall, it’s been a great investment. The standout feature is definitely the refillable ink tanks. Unlike traditional printers that run out of cartridges quickly (and cost a fortune to replace), the EcoTank comes with large bottles of ink that last for thousands of pages. This makes it much more cost-effective in the long run and perfect for anyone who prints regularly. Print Quality: The print resolution is sharp for documents and surprisingly good for color prints, even photos. It may not replace a professional photo printer, but for everyday use, it’s more than enough. Ease of Use: Setup is straightforward, though filling the ink tanks the first time can feel a little intimidating. Once that’s done, though, you barely need to think about ink levels for months. The printer also has wireless printing and scanning features, which makes it convenient for use with multiple devices. Speed: Printing speed is solid for home and small office use—not the fastest, but reliable. Pros: • Extremely low cost per page • Huge ink capacity and long-lasting supply • Wireless connectivity and mobile printing • Good print quality for documents and casual photo printing Cons: • Upfront price is higher than cartridge printers • Bulkier design compared to standard models • Initial setup of the tanks can be a bit messy if not careful Verdict: If you’re tired of constantly buying overpriced cartridges, the Epson EcoTank is a game changer. It’s especially worth it for families, students, or small businesses that print a lot. The higher initial cost pays off quickly, and the convenience of not worrying about ink for months is a huge plus.

I'm generally opposed to extended service plans on principle. However, if you're like me, who buys tech, phones, and TVs and also acts like tech support for an extended family, then the flat-rate Best Best Total protection plan makes some sense. You get all the extended warranties for no extra fee, including AppleCare+, 'drop it off and let them deal with it' for service issues, and other member sales and benefits. If you don't buy much or often, then perhaps it's not for you. For those who do, it's worth the yearly fee, in my opinion.

    My family truly trusts BestBuy

My entire family got gadgets and everything we need from BEST BUY. I’ve been using the Monthly Best Buy Protection Plan for a while now, and I have to say—it’s one of the smartest decisions I’ve made when it comes to protecting my electronics. I originally signed up when I bought a new laptop, and since then, I’ve added it to a few other items like my wireless earbuds and gaming console. The best part? It’s flexible, affordable, and honestly gives me real peace of mind. What I like most about the monthly option is that there’s no huge upfront payment. I pay a manageable monthly fee, and I’m covered without having to think about expiration dates or renewals. It just keeps going for as long as I want the protection, and I can cancel anytime. That flexibility really works for me, especially since I tend to upgrade my devices fairly often. I had a situation a few months ago where my laptop's screen started glitching out. I rely on it daily for work and didn’t have time to waste. I brought it into Best Buy, and thanks to the protection plan, they diagnosed the issue and handled the repair quickly—with no extra cost to me. If I didn’t have the plan, that repair probably would’ve been a few hundred dollars out of pocket. That one experience alone made the protection totally worth it. Another time, my wireless earbuds started having battery issues. I brought them in, and instead of being stuck with a slow or faulty pair, Best Buy offered a quick replacement. It was seamless, no stress at all. That kind of support makes a huge difference. I also appreciate how helpful the Geek Squad team has been. Any time I’ve needed help—whether it’s filing a claim or just asking questions—they’ve been patient, knowledgeable, and super easy to work with. I never feel like I’m being rushed or brushed off, which isn’t always the case with other warranty services. What’s great is that the protection isn’t just for breakdowns—it also covers accidental damage, which is huge for me. I’m not super clumsy, but accidents happen. Knowing I’m covered if I drop my phone or spill something on my gear just makes me more confident using my stuff without constantly worrying about every little mishap. To sum it up: Monthly Best Buy Protection has been more than worth it. It’s affordable, reliable, and it actually works when you need it most. I like that I’m not locked into anything long-term, and I can tailor it to the products I care about most. If you’re buying anything valuable from Best Buy, especially tech or appliances, I 100% recommend adding this protection. It’s saved me money, time, and stress more than once—and that peace of mind is hard to put a price on.

    Great features and expandability

Got the Samsung T40 Speaker for when we have company over and when working in the garage. The speaker is small enough that you can tuck it out of the way and powerful enough that you can hear the music. Connecting to it was easy to do and there is a message center on the top of the speaker that tells you what is happening. This takes out a lot of the guess work when connecting the devices. Aside from the Bluetooth connectivity there are other options for connecting audio inputs on the back. This makes the speaker very versatile and opens a lot of possibilities for connecting all kinds of devices to it. The sound that it creates is clear and can get loud, the bass is not obnoxious but is balanced to the other speakers that are built in. You can even turn on the bass boost if you want to add a little more punch. The design of the speaker is very thoughtful and leaves you room for expansion with its group play feature. This allows you to have more than one of the speakers connected to each other and play the same music on both speakers. The T40 is a good value for all the functionality, compatibility, and expandability that it offers. I am glad I got one.

    Best controller out there!

This is not your average elite controller. This comes with customizable options through ASUS’s software that’s all available online. No need to install any applications. RGB is subtle, feels great in hand, and feels optimized for gaming. Depending on your gaming hours, be ready to keep it on a charger when you’re not using it, personally recommend using a hardwire connection to avoid any latency. Great buy, highly recommend!
