I have been a Total Tech member for years. It is so worth the money. I have a son who is a gamer & when you are using gaming equipment sometimes things just go wrong. Without total tech protection you just have to go spend the money to replace it. Gaming equipment is so expensive these days it is nice to have peace of mind with Total Tech. If it is the fault of the equipment and within two years since purchase Best Buy will make it right for you.

Best Buy Protection is the best! You can chat on-line or call the Geek Squad & they'll help you. They'll dial into my desktop computer & get rid of the stuff that you can't do yourself. Always friendly. Have had the Protection Plan for many years. Yes, it does cost for the plan, but has saved me in the long run.

Overall, its a nice product and covers everything… but its price isn’t that great! I realize its a serious profit venue for Best Buy… but it shouldn’t be this costly. Also, the tech’s aren’t equally qualified. Some know products inside and out, but others can’t even solve the most basic issues! Training needs to greatly improve overall. I’m a very long term (& regular customer), but this tech support needs refinement to fully accomplish its “lofty” goals for its consumers! I would “only” recommend this to my non-technical friends.

Def an awesome perk to have! Accidentally broke my iPad and thank goodness I had this coverage. I took my iPad in to get fixed and was told it was a no go. Instead of paying full price for a new one, I paid a small fee for a replacement and received a brand new one.

I picked this plan mainly for the peace of mind of knowing support is there if something breaks or malfunctions. It’s convenient and takes the stress out of ownership a bit. I like that it turns a big unexpected repair into a more manageable situation. The downside is that if nothing ever happens, you might feel like you paid for nothing—so it really depends on the product and how you use it.

My LG was struck by lightning. After careful research i decided to try a samsung 75" TV. Great purchase. Originally i bought a tv at another business. It was delivered with the screen cracked. Again i tried to buy a tv at another place. This time i picked it up myself. Again after set up the screen was cracked! Finally went to Best Buy and they delivered a perfect product. After lightning, 2 cracked screens, i decided to get a protection plan. It was worth the feeling of secuity.

I’ve bought my Mac Laptop several years ago , it still works well, plus a dryer withjn the last year, in which 2 Best Buy team members delivered and took my old one away….timely service , good sales team, excellent products !!

Had an HP printer. Had problems with the print heads, had the printer almost 2 years. Took it back, told them the problem and picked another brand new one, easy replacement and no cost since it was less than 24 months

I got the HP ENVY Inspire 7255e Wireless AiO Inkjet Photo Printer for my business needs, and I've been putting it to good use. This printer in White & Sandstone looks great on my desk. My Experience 1. Easy Wireless Setup: I loved how easy it was to connect the printer to my devices via Wi-Fi. Printing from my phone or laptop is a breeze. 2. Perfect for Business: I've used it for printing labels. fliers, notes, and even some photos for a project. The quality's been great. 3. Instant Ink Subscription: The 3 months of Instant Ink plus the bonus month with a code was a nice perk. It helped me manage ink costs. What I'd Consider 1. Long-Term Ink Costs: I'll need to think about ink costs after the subscription ends. 2. Initial Setup: It took me a bit to get everything set up just right. Overall I'm happy with the HP ENVY Inspire 7255e. It's been reliable for my business printing needs, and I like how it prints photos too.

If you like insurance then this is a way to go. I have never had an issue with Best Buy honoring their protection services at all. Multiple times to have sent people out to fix products for me or even replaced them.

The best protection you can get, If Best Buy had medical insurance I'd buy 100 of them since its the best protection you can get compared to what other stores offer, I don't even want to buy stuff anywhere else since they don't offer the protection plans that BB will offer

Love my new laser printer. It was simple to set up with the help of the Geek Squad and works perfectly. I did my income taxes online and was able to print a copy for my records at no cost. Wonderful!

Even though we may not spend enough regularly at BestBuy to make the Best Buy Protection Total Tech membership an obvious bargain, the peace of mind that we get, along with the added warranty and service that is available in the event that we need it, makes Total Tech well worth it.

If there were more than 5-Stars, GEEK SQUAD would get every one! I am not technically inclined, so when I purchase a new laptop from BestBuy, I knew I needed IT support. That has proven to be the BEST BUY (no pun intended) I made in this purchase. In the roughly two weeks since the purchase, I have sought help from the GEEK SQUAD to set up my new HP, transfer hundreds of files, configure new software, and integrate several peripheral devices. Most of my GEEK SQUAD contacts have been "Remote Support". Those folks are simply AMAZING! They are professional, extremely knowledgeable, and patient beyond belief. Access to BestBuy's REMOTE Tech. Support has already proven to be more than worth the GEEK SQUAD membership price!
