I have been a Best Buy member for years and generally was happy with the service. Over the past couple of years, the benefits have been dwindling (no more free delivery for example). I still continued to enjoy the access to service, but that has come to an end. Now, I find it maddeningly frustrating to get in touch with a human, and when I do every effort is made to dodge warranty responsibility. The last straw for me has been Best Buy's outright refusal to honor its obligation to a brand new stove that is leaking natural gas into my family's home anytime it is turned on. For 2 months, I was given the run around and was finally offered the "opportunity" to pay $100 to have someone diagnose the issue in my home and then pay to have it repaired - though the representative actually stated that the unit is likely irreparable. Wow, Best Buy. I've spent over $50,000 with you in the past several years as I renovate homes and you leave my high and dry with a life-safety issue in the kitchen my kids play in? I went ahead and replaced the product purchasing it from one of your competitors. I miss the days of customer loyalty. But don't worry, AI helped prepare my demand letter so I get the allure of losing the personal touch to be more efficient. Tell your legal department to watch out for a communication from me.

Having Best buy Total tech support has totally changed everything for me and upped the value on my expenses it has been a great big help especially if you do a lot of shopping at best buy. A lot can happen within 2 years especially buying technology so buying protection pays for it self.
