Best Buy Protection plan is a joke. Make sure the manufacturer has a good warranty and buy that item with that in mind. If your Item goes out they will not refund it back to your payment device EVEN IF IT IS A BESTBUY CREDIT CARD. They will not tell you it is out of stock and so you will be stuck buying something else that you do not want.

There’s not work on GEN 3 Starlink, product seems heavy duty, but was ill advised by store employee do your research, product by the same name on Starlink website does fit the bill for the GEN 3, different parts included check the parts list before you buy

It used to be called total Tec and it was great when it was exactly that however, they recently changed it and they discounted $20 off of the membership. However, they have taken out all of the valuable perks and benefits that the membership once used to have

Not worth the money, im my case you have to prove the the product is defective or best buy will just say its something technical on my end.

BS that you have changed Total Tech support to be like a home warranty model with copay per incident. I used to have the 5 yr coverage with no copay on my appliances through you, now I have this useless crap. Will most likely cancel Total Tech support just for this reason and the fact that y'all can and have changed what's included, terms and conditions, etc several times since I've signed up. HATE IT.

If you have a problem call and they walk you through it. If it breaks down they will fix it

Don’t buy the new total scam that’s replacing total tech. They dropped the price and all the best features of it. Junk now and fighting with them for refund of a product that was swapped and had to buy another one so I wouldn’t have to wait 2-3 more weeks before having a working product

Thus far it is a great plan to have. I hope to be using it much more in the future.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! They will not cover anything. You still have to pay for repairs and service for faulty equipment. Does not cover manufacturer warranty. Save your money.

Worked great for a week, then stopped. Refreshed to factory settings but could only get it to print from my cell phone

Since I've bought the printer it's been a pain. Getting it installed was a hassle. Called HP and was on the phone for about 3 hours. If it's not used daily, screen freezes and have to restart it all the time.

Worthless. Will not even price match an item I purchased 6 days ago.

I purchased the plan which cost $200.00 for 1 year and when I needed to use it I was sent to an IT tech in another country which I couldn't understand and when they performed services they couldn't fix my problem and made my computer worse. It's too much money for very poor service i dont recommend it.

Worthless if you have it with Totaltech, as the Totaltech membership is nearly useless from a customer service standpoint, the extra protection is a nightmare to deal with because that's just who Best Buy is now.

Don't waste your time with the geek squad or the consultants. once they get the sale it is impossible to reach them if they don't finish the service. this service still has not been performed

Was super excited as this monitor is a new release and perfectly fit my needs, but faulty panel and would not turn on. Considered troubleshooting and keeping it, but could not justify at $800 and returned.
