A: If you have the best buy total membership, there is no need to purchase a seperate warranty. The total membership covers all types of items and they dont even have to be bought at a best buy. It is worth yearly charge and not to mention the membership perks

Q: What does the protection plan cover

A: The 24 month protection plan covers accidental damage, software issues. And some other things. Best bet is to look up there protection agreement and at the bottom of the words protection agreement in smal letters there will be a blue link terms and conditions. Alternatively they have QnA that are answered by best buy. And if i remember correctly this question was one of the ones they answered.

Q: I had the Litter Robot 3, which had known defects that broke the littler box after only 6 months. I am hopping the litter robot 4 works great. However, with total tech if I have the any issues after a year, do I just return it with the protection plan?

A: I like to think of this as a grey area. If its known defections in the product its manufactuer warranty. However if you sign up with total tech for the year and after the year is up. If you dont renew or cancel anytime. Your protection cancels the same day. If you still have the protection then i would call your local best buy and ask them for further instruction.

Q: How can I access service services for my treadmill? How can we schedule repairs?

A: You should contact your local best buy and they will point you in the right direction. Before i posted this answer i backed out and read the service agreement. It states to take it into the physical best buy store and they will fix it if covered under the warranty or replace it/ give credits of what the item was worth if they dont have that same product. Hope this helps and good luck. I doubt they expect you to walk in treadmill in hands.

Q: Can you purchase an additional 2 years of warranty coverage?

A: If you had the geek squad protection plan you cant extend its plan. However you can purchase a 24 month best buy protection plan and extend it that way. I dont see anything that specifically states you cant renew a 24 month best buy protection plan. However it does state the item must be eligible for the plan.
