    Rollback netcode. What else needs to be said? I'm not a huge MK fan, but I was so tired of the awful, delay-based netcode of Guilty Gear, Dragonball Fighter Z, and Street Fighter V that I'm willing to buy and play any game with rollback-based netcode. Playing online MK11 is incredible -- virtually the same as playing with someone on the couch next to you. Is it the most balanced and variegated game? No -- characters play far too similarly; zoning isn't even really a viable option even though just about every character has a variation intended to do it. But it's a fighting game that actually works online, and, sadly, that's quite an accomplishment in 2020.

    Fighting games are great. This one has great characters and insane violence but gets kinda boring pretty fast. I’ll always love mortal Kombat though! Keep the hits coming!
