Was debating between this and the PS4 version, I went with Switch knowing the graphics would be scaled back but it would be the longer term purchase because PS4 will be on its way out soon. Got home and downloaded the update (20GB, the case says), and began playing. The small details are missing (like the hair on character models looks blocky, backgrounds are washed, etc.), but my biggest complaint is the choppiness of cut scenes. The transitions from gameplay to cut scenes in story mode isn’t terrible, but there’s noticeable frame rate lag. If I had to do it again I’d buy on PS4 (and will when it drops to $20). I’d recommend getting it for a true console vs. Switch. It’s just not powerful enough for the realistic detail you want in MK11.

Yes this port is lower visual quality but it runs at 60 fps with no issues on Switch so that is a plus.
