The graphics are not as good as other platforms, especially the hair shaders. The performance is not when it needs to be, there are dropped frames and it is not a locked 60fps. The story mode and ability to lab on commutes etc makes the purchase with it for me.

Lots of respect goes to Netherealm for releasing a AAA fighter on Switch. The controls, story and feel nail it on the head, but the graphical limitations of the Switch just made this a nonstarter for me, personally. To each his own

The game was fun for the first 2 hours but every character feel like the have similar moves and a lot of my favorite characters from other games were not included

It’s ok if u r a Mortal Kombat fan the history mode is nice and is playable but it sucks that is made to get money from u , if u want to play to the fullest u have to buy so much crap for something it should comes with the game in the first place

Game quality could be enhanced, even though I understand the quality is going to be lower with the switch. I expected a little more, also the switch game is slow on the switch and has cutt off a couple of times.

I mean, you aren't getting anything new here. The game plays pretty much the same as it did in 1996. Worth the $25 on sale if you're into that sort of thing.

It's a real great and comprehensive edition to the series. Unfortunately, some of the rendering is not the best on the Switch. Game has crashed a few times and there are many audio problems during game play.

Hats off to Nintendo for bringing this to the Switch. Bought it for my son and after watching him play, the Switch just doesn’t have the power to compete with PS or Xbox. Graphics off and pretty glitchy.

Mortal Kombat is always a great fighting game but this new version requires you to connect to switch online to access everything. Plus sitting right some combo moves are to easy to use.

The story is terrible. Gameplay feels less exciting than the previous 2 games. Lots of character designs and costumes are some of the worst I ever saw like Cassie, Sonya, Scarlet, Kitana and Jade. Its SJW culture being forced on a game and series that celebrates murder and mutilation but then shuns any sort of sex appeal as disgusting lol. On the graphics side of things its pretty bad looking like a last gen MK due to very low resolutions most of the time. I gave it an extra star just because they made an effort to port it to the switch at least.

Game is cool, I havent bought a mortal kombat game since mk II. This works good but I dont have internet so I cant use the other 2/3 of the game. I got it on sale for $25, wouldnt pay more.

This is the base edition of Mortal Kombat 11. While incredible that the game manages to run on the Switch at all, the sacrifices made to achieve it add up negatively. Fighting is in 60fps, but essentially everything else chugs in its framerates. The Krypt is the lowest resolution of anything in the game. The menus and cutscenes can slow down to a crawl, with inputs taking just as long to register. Still, I managed to get 50+ hours of enjoyment out of it before getting the PC version instead.
