The mortal combat games have progressed with the times. It is often more like watching an interactive movie then a video game. I haven't completely beaten the game but the cut scenes alone are over 2 hours and 45 minutes.

Best Mortal Kombat since ps2. Great graphics. Great game

If you're a fan, or even a casual fighter, you need to pick this one up. Great speed, perfect combos, excellent animations, and a killer storyline. Probably my favorite of the recent fighters to appear on Xbox One or PS4.

Didn't have high hopes for the PS4 Mortal Kombat - but it was a pleasant surprise! Love the new features and theme. If you are Mortal Kombat fan and like kicking butt - you'll love this! Got it on sale - great buy.

The game really is fantastic if your a fan of Injustice or MK of course you will love this game as the fighting mechanics have been directly ported over from Injustice with enhancements. The only complaint I have is a lack of roster. It does not seem to big to me especially with Goro being a paid character at $5 or season pass $30.

This game, while adding to the old classic fighting genre, is in a class above itself. Bridging old and new fighters/eras while still keeping the same tone and feel of the original, keeps the series fresh and authentic

I love this game! There are so many online battle options, there are different factions you can play with, there a moves that you can unlock for your character, you get ranked, etc.......Very good fighting game!

As much headway as Mortal Kombat X has made in regards to the fighting system, the series' other mainstay trait has grown in step. Fatalities and other gruesome attacks are the series' goriest yet, and while not all of them fall into the slapstick category, there are plenty that make you laugh due to the absurdity on display.
