The new Mortal Kombat features the kids of some of the classic combatants but other new characters as well. D'vorah the insect woman and Erron the the old west gunslinger. Ferra/Tor a huge mutant teamed with a little girl being the best new character. It will remind fighting game aficienados of Chang/Chin from King of Fighters. The story is interesting enough, if at times cheesy, but that's Mortal Kombat. Plenty to unlock and the krypt, with factions and towers to occupy your time as well. Pick it up today.

Enjoyable game especially if playing with multiple players. Can also be enjoyed playing alone. Battles are fun for group gaming.

I thought this was a fun mortal kombat game. Probably the longest story game play yet.

I bought this game as a birthday present for my boyfriend, who is a longtime fan of Mortal Kombat ... and he loves it. I am terrible at fighting games, so I just mainly watch, and therefore, can't really comment on how the controls are. The story mode so far is really cool, much better to me than, say Tekken. As always, this game is definitely for mature audiences as the bone-cracking finishing moves are over-the-top crazy. I wince every time, but that's a "good" thing considering what game this is.

I always been Mortal kombat fan, and this is the best fight game out there, with new graphics and game modes , it worth a try.

Very good, I felt extreme nostalgia playing this game. The graphics are better and the fatalities are as brutal as ever.

First off, the graphics in Mortal Kombat X are amazing. I actually picked up this game for my girlfriend, she's interested in gaming but rarely plays. Since we got MKX it's hard to get her off of the PS4. The story mode is great, lots of video (with some quick time events) in between fights tells a story more complete than you get in most fighting games. There is an excessive amount of blood and gore, but if you weren't expecting that from a Mortal Kombat game then you're not paying attention.

Been an MK player from the very first one at the arcade. It is great to see the graphical improvements from then to now. Love the selection of characters and the story mode is a great touch. You get to play with most of the characters during this mode and the story itself is entertaining enough to keep me playing throughout. My only complaints with the "Test your might" portion they have made it extra difficult. Having to pay for DLC is also a drag but thats the "new age" of videogames we live in. To be able to do the easy fatalities you have to purchase them and you have to get a season pass to get all the characters and future updates. Still a great game, anybody can play it and has high replay value. I recommend it.

Gameplay and graphics are awesome. The fatalities are more hardcore than ever, its what you'd expect from MK. Tons of fun!
