Like a fine wine this franchise gets better with age. Graphics are outstanding, new characters are fascinating, and returning ones bring a smile to your face. Veteran MK players and newcomers will have no problem with the controls. Completed the Story mode in under six hours, a bit short, but it was a nice narrative. Definitely a must have. Ready... Fight!

Grew up playing Mortal Kombat and this one has not disappointed.

I love this game! The story was awesome due to the upcoming generation of Mortal Kombat fighters. The online gameplay is even better because it gives you a variety of ways to play from Teams, King of the Hill, ranked, Unranked, and more! It takes hours and time to find the character that best suits you, but time is the key to becoming a better player.

Great game. Graphics, sound, controls, everything is great. My only complaint is the money grab for the extra characters, levels etc.

The game looks beautiful at 1080p and 60fps. Great story with good pace. The fatality and the brutality are back and better than ever!

I have played most, if not all, of the MK series. This is the best game yet. I am a casual online player so the online fights are not for me. The story was great and easy to follow. Wish there was a bit more. If you are a fight fan this is a must have. If not then try and give it a rent. The biggest issue is all the micro transactions for opening up certain things. Fortunately not required but feels a bit pay to enjoy after being a $60 game. This would be more acceptable if the release price point was $20 or 30 less.

I am really impressed with this game so far. The stories always keep you interested and still add plenty of fighting. Did share play for my first time with this game and it work great. Graphics are amazing. I wish you could by add on characters separate opposed to packs, but I didn't want to take of a whole star for it because it truly is a great game.

If you like the original you will love this. Graphics are great and game story is fun and challenging. Online play is great as well.

Mortal Kombat X is a great sequel, totally worth buying. The old characters never looked better, the new characters are awesome, the graphics amazing, and the tomb is awesome to collect things. A definite buy!!

It had been a while since I have played a game of this genre. I have to say, I am pleased with this purchase. The game's graphics and features are very satisfying. Me and my daughter enjoy playing this game together and the fact that I don't have to play split screen make it worth the money. The only drawback, at least for me, is with so many characters and so many button combinations for moves, it can be difficult to execute all the moves beyond a punch or a kick. I can see more practice in my near future.
