Got this game for Xmas, wanted it when it first came out but was patient and low and behold the xl came out with almost all the extras. Thoroughly enjoy playing.

I've been a fan and player of this franchise on and off from the beginning with Mortal Kombat (OG) at arcade and home system. With MKXL, the gameplay is awesomely detailed, fun, but overall wears thin after a while. Good for nostalgia, 2 players, etc. as well as one player.
