Decent when it stays working

Owned for 6 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worked fine for just shy of 6 months, internet started to frequently disconnect, struggling to load even a single image (reminded me of the dial-up days). It worked great at first, speeds were consistent and roughly what was expected - shame it didn't hold up. Contacted ISP to diagnose connection problems just in case, after a series of techs we all concluded this was the problem - after buying a new modem (not a Motorola), suddenly the connection has stabilized. Decent for the short life it had, definitely not worth the money for how long it lasted.

Excellent Comcast Xfinity wifi connection!

My only issue was with Motorola tech support when attempting to connect the Motorola to a friend's Xfinity wifi. There was an issue and the Motorola tech rep stated that the ROKU device was the cause of the connection issue. This simply did not make any sense and, in the end, was not the reason for the connection issue. At any rate, the Motorola MG7540 is an excellent hardware product.
