Same issues with 4 phones

I've had four of the Edge 2022 (2 for me, 2 for my wife) that i got from Spectrum. The first two from a Spectrum store, the other two from Motorola as replacements. All four had the same issues: apps freezing, spontaneously lock up or shut down or restart, not connecting to WiFi when reentering the house, and a message that UI System not responding. I've been happy with Motorola in the past and see all the positive reviews for this, but that's not been my experience with the 2022 model. I don't know if it's because they were locked to Spectrum or not. Now I'm using an unlocked Edge 2021 with no issues yet.

Biggest reason im returning, No 5G on At&t.

Biggest issue I had with the phone is no 5g support on At&t.
Second issue, slow start up and too much bloatware. Even after removing the bloatware that it allowed, its still slow on start up. Also, the body is smaller than Im used too

BUYERS BEWARE!!! Absolute Crap!

The unit certainly sounds good Or so I thought?! But it does have apps and other unwanted Junk that simply CAN NOT be deleted or removed! This according to 2 Reps who barely spoke English and understood even less!!
BUT the biggest draw-back is you Can't transfer data or pics, etc. No 'Smart Switch' like on my Galaxy... However, the awesome geeks at Geek Squad said they 'Thought" they could do this for me. This for an addition 40 to 50 bucks, such a deal!!
Honestly, I couldn't wait to get rid of this thing and buy a Real Phone!!
BUYERS BEWARE...!!

Limited Wifi Calling support, a full stop for me
Posted .

Does not support Wifi Calling on Mint or any other Tmobile MVNO as far as I can tell from forum posts. Makes this effectively useless vs my OLD moto G6 with the same simcard and account.
If Wifi calling is important to you, find a definitive answer whether your carrier is supported.
As far as I can tell there's no where the average person could find this in the specs. What an absurd function to not fully implement by Motorola.

Hi ArstotelisC, we're sorry to hear about this. Please note that our devices will only support Wi-Fi Calling on carriers that choose to support that feature. Carriers require certification for phones to get Wi-Fi Calling or any other IMS service. If that would be the case, we advise you to download a third-party app instead from the Google Play store. For other concerns, please send us an email at [email protected]. -Ythan

Very happy with customer service at Best'Buy store helping me set up new phone. I purchased on line a new Motorola edge 2022 for $399. After store pickup they were selling same phone for $349. My loss.

The product was defective and I was still charged the restocking fee. I am not happy with Best Buy at all.
