My perfect phone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I returned the plus model after using them both for a day. These are key differences versus the plus model. Pros:: Cheaper Not slick More compact and lightweight Callers can hear me better, especially when there's wind or a window down in the car Much better ram management The plus model is better in these 2 ways:: Better camera (2x zoom) MUCH Better battery life (battery is bigger and processor seems to handle heat a tad better) Summarized:: I also like the plus model better because of some software tweaks it has. Just small general things. For instance, the clear all apps and ability to lock apps open in the app window screen is ideal for me. Ongo caseless and wear basketball shorts. This phone satisfies my necessities for a phone versus all others I've tried. I was really shocked the dimensity 7030 is as snappy as it is. And I'm still impressed by how well this handles ram management. I typically need a 12gb ram phone, but this one handles and punches above it's class on sale for only $499.

Great phone for the money
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Well this one was unexpecte, i usually have two flagship phone like the newest pixel or Samsung along with the newest iPhone. However after getting sick and unfortunately loosing my job i had to return my work phones and needed to fet something that wont hurt rhe wallet. I originally tried the pixel 8 because it was on sale at the time for $549 and it constantly got hot to the touch doing basic things like social media and watching videos, not to mention the battery life was just terrible.. so i returned it and picked up this Moto edge 2023 being that it was also on sale and cheaper I decided to give it a shot and oh oh boy it does not disappoint. Its a bigger but lighter phone, not a better camera but its still good for the price and it doesn't feel like it will break after dropping it mainly because of the vegan leather on the back compared to the pixels glossy back. Battery life is better then the pixel 8 however i wish it would better but considering it does last longer and does NOT overheat i consider it a win. ( Oh for my pixel fans out there yes this does have Screen calling) which is surprising because Samsung and others don't have it. Only two downsides here that i see, 1. There are not many cases or screen protectors i found online for even at best buy 2. Phone does lag when dling heavy multitasking or gaming however it hasn't froze on me.Overall if you need a phone that doesn't break the bank and is reliable then this os the one

Great phone!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very Surprised by the camera's function and quality for the price. As for the Dimensity 7030 chip, it can run AAA mobile games quite well being a mid-tier processor. The overall phone can be a great daily driver with the smooth 144 hz p-OLED variable display and vegan leather design that makes it easy to hold without worrying about fingerprints. Quick note. with the endless edge display, I recommend buyers to get the phone case on Amazon because just by merely holding it with no case, your skin can come into contact with the screen and make false input.

Great phone
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Motorola Edge 2023 is a mid-range phone with some high-end features, like a 144Hz OLED display and a 50MP main camera. It's available unlocked for $349.99, which is a good price for the features you get. However, there are some trade-offs to consider. **Pros** * **Stylish design:** The Edge 2023 has a thin and light design with a curved OLED display that looks and feels premium. It also has a vegan leather back that is grippy and comfortable to hold. * **Bright display:** The 144Hz OLED display is one of the best features of the Edge 2023. It's bright, clear, and smooth, making it great for watching videos or gaming. * **Fast charging:** The Edge 2023 supports 68W fast charging, which can give you hours of battery life in just minutes of charging. * **Decent battery life:** The battery life on the Edge 2023 is average for a mid-range phone. You should be able to get through a full day of light use on a single charge. **Cons** * **Average camera:** The 50MP main camera on the Edge 2023 is good in well-lit conditions, but it struggles in low light. The ultra-wide and telephoto lenses are also just average. * **Slightly underpowered processor:** The MediaTek Dimensity 7030 processor is not the fastest processor on the market, but it should be enough for most everyday tasks. However, you may experience some lag if you try to run demanding games or applications. * **No software updates guaranteed:** Motorola is not known for being the best at providing software updates to its phones. So, there is no guarantee that the Edge 2023 will receive the latest version of Android for very long. Overall, the Motorola Edge 2023 is a good mid-range phone with a lot to offer, especially for the price. However, if you are looking for the best camera or the fastest performance, you may want to consider another option. Here are some alternatives to consider: * Google Pixel 6a: The Pixel 6a has a better camera than the Edge 2023 and is guaranteed to receive software updates for at least 3 years. * Samsung Galaxy A53 5G: The Galaxy A53 5G has a similar feature set to the Edge 2023, but it has a longer battery life.

Annoyingly awesome phone!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Despite the few cons, I like the phone. It was difficult to find a proper case and screen protector. Curved edge was different and interesting at first, but it made finding a case harder. Slimmer than my last phone but I like it, easier to hold. I love the camera, when I zoom in it doesn't look blurry or pixelated. Fingerprint sensor is on the screen which is different but 9/10 it works alright. The battery is a bit disappointing, but overall it's alright. For me, it's been a difficult decision on whether to keep or return it. The camera is amazing enough for me to keep it.

Best Edge!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the best Motorola to buy imho. I am a huge Mediatek fan and the Dimensity 7030 does not disappoint at all. It is fast and unlike the Pixel 7a that I just sold on eBay, it does not overheat. The screen is a beauty and I always love the Edge curved glass and I am happy they abandoned the 2022 Edge flat glass. The camera is very solid and the in hand feel is wonderful. So thin and easy for one handed use. Vegan leather back gives a great grip and softness. Battery life is very good and the fast charging makes this an all around win. Keep it up Motorola!!

Excellent phone for the price
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been using android phones(Samsung and OnePlus) for past 10 years and this is the best phone(Edge 2023) I have used used so far. I am writing this review after using two months and it's not a promotional review.. Highlights of this phone are sleek design, display resolution, speed, selfie camera, main camera, wireless charging, reverse wireless charging to other phones, IP68..etc Lot of customizations available 4-5 different fonts and icon shapes compared to other brands. Overall this is best phone for the price.

Good value for $350 but older models are faster
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The design on this phone is great and the vegan leather back is nice and grippy. The screen is very similar to the plus model. I daily the plus model that's why i wanted to try out this regular model. Overall it is a great device and actually takes great pics in low light due to the large aperture. The big BUT here is that on all benchmarks it scores lower than the 2022 model and even the g stylus 5g (2023). Why that's possible? I don't know. But kind of disappointing. The storage and CPU and GPU are all slower. The CPU and GPU are around 10-15% slower than the edge 2022 model and 20% slower than the g stylus with the snapdragon 6 gen 1. Great phone but the performance numbers threw me off. I know some don't care but it feels wrong spending for the newer model when the older one technically has more performance.

The Motorola Edge is decent mid range phone
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like this phone. E-SIM compatibility is a plus. I had a 2022 Edge Fusion 30 before which I liked a little more, but it was in my pocket when I went swimming so we all know how that goes. This newer model just updated to Android 14 so I like that part. It's pretty snappy and with a bit more ram it'd be better than the Fusion 30 was (that phone had 12 gigs of ram). I'm a bit tough on phones so I prefer carrying a mid range priced Motorola like this Edge and I'd recommend it to anyone needing a decent stable phone with a decent camera and enough storage (I backup my photos on Google photos and offload the originals onto a hard drive to keep plenty of space available.

Great budget phone.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I always get top of the line phones. But my top of the line phone's battery basically exploded inside the phone. I didn't have insurance etc. So I grabbed this up at $350. Less than a third the cost of my previous phone. Shocked how well it works. Great phone to get me by until I can upgrade again. Thin, light. Not too big, not small. Loud speakers. Gorgeous screen. Soft touch back reminds me of phones from years ago, where cases weren't necessary. But with the curved glass, you may want a case. Good camera (for price). Good speed (for price). Let's be clear, this isn't going to compete with the newest lastest greatest top of the line flagship phones. But at $350... It's kinda amazing how close it comes.

Great phone for the value.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a great for phone for the value and specially how good and light it feel when holding it. I tried both the this model and the plus, I went with the plus model due to camera, I get paid to shoot events , that's me being picky on the options but for any regular person that doesn't want to spend on a fortune on a phone. I would definitely go with this one. Did a comparison with HD videos running on both screens they were almost identical, I would the give the "edge" on the regular model since the colors offer a little punch. You won't issues connecting to Android Auto with any cable unlike the edge plus which I ended up buying a wireless adapter for it to work.

Good phone, price point could be better
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This phone was an emergency purchase for a replacements of the Nord N30. The visuals of this phone is good, pretty standard for the price point and it displays well in outdoor sunlight. The camera is pretty good and is better than the previous phone I had. The battery life us decent, however i did not like the face the phone did not come with a charger block, and to make things more annoying is that it only comes with a USB-c to USB-C cord. The charger blocks are sod separately and cand use 65W charger. The phone charges from 10% to approximately 30% in about 15 Minutes. Overall I think this is a good phone, i just only wish it was about $75 less for the perfromance.

It fulfills all the requirements
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. To preface this review, I purchased this for a massive discount, about 250 off, for my mother. My mother loves it. I appreciate everything about this phone, it has an excellent camera, great storage space(which she really cares about) and it looks sleek and nice. It fits well in her hand, and it's been about a month or two now, there has been zero complaints. I was originally going to purchase the pixel 7, which was also in a discount, but I think this did everything we asked for it to do.

BETTER IN SOME WAYS
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall this phone is probably adequate. It is just a little clunky in some ways compared to my very old Samsung. The screen is a nice size and the display is bright and clear. The sound when playing videos is a bit tinny but plenty loud. The data storage is way more than I used to have so that is nice. It's taking me awhile to adjust but I think I will like it better over time.

Samsung Replacement
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this phone as a replacement of Galaxy Flip 4 that screen broke 3 times within a year. I had Motorola in the past and liked the quality. The price point for the phone was amazing at $350. It's fast enough, screen resolution and graphics are very good. Vera not as good as Samsung but is still decent. I recommend the phone for price point to features as it is a great value.
