    Visit to Geek Squad destroyed my phone

    I have had miseries with this phone and visited the Geek Squad for that very reason. My most recent visit with the Geek Squad led to the attendant making all sorts of actions with the phone that left it unable to ring, so I never know who is calling me. I have posted the entire story on the 12-page PDF whose link I am posting below. Please see that someone processes it. Do not call me on the defective phone; email and fax will reach me where phone calls will not. Twelve page letter requesting phone swap to get preferred phone 10/02/2025 https://authorhouse.haus/4mEhC1D Please process this immediately without delay. I requested to swap it for the phone that I originally wanted to buy that Best Buy has listed on the website. The replacement phone is cheaper than the one that I bought, but if a swap can be made, I will accept it as a fair trade so I can have a functioning phone!

    Normally I love Motorola phones. The display width on this one is skinnier than other phones of this size. I wound up trading it for a different phone with wider width for normal display.

    Long lasting battery and snappy performance

    I bought this phone to replace my Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE as the battery was at 68% health. With no local Xiaomi repair shops to replace the battery, I thought buying a new phone would be the solution. Enter the Moto Edge 2024. I owned three prior Motorola phones so I was familiar with the brand. Mine is the unlocked version with 8GB of memory and 256GB of storage. Design/Phone quality: This phone is sleek, comfortable to hold, and has a nice curved pOLED screen. The eco-leather back provides a nice grip but the form factor is reminiscent of my old LG Velvet. Very impressive. It also has an IP68 dust and water resistance rating. Performance: My 11 Lite had a SD 778 chip that has been a good mid-range processor for a while. The Moto Edge 2024 feels much faster. It's almost flagship speed. I think this is an upgrade for anyone using anything else than a flagship phone. I have only streamed gaming to this phone but it multitasks very well without any hiccups.. Aligning with flagship features, the USB-C Port is 3.1 and compatible with Display port 1.4. So, it has a great desktop mode that connects to an exterior monitor if you really want to get everything out of this phone. While the storage speed is 2.2, it still feels fast enough. Battery: This is why I upgraded the phone. I can get about 1.5 days on this battery. That said, I am a heavy user as I always keep the 5G running. I will update with just wi-fi daily usage as I'm sure that will increase battery life as well. I average about 10-11 hours of screen-on time each day with 25-30% remaining. This feels like an efficient use of the 5,000 mAh battery. Display: The display is probably the most underrated part of this phone. The pOLED running up to 144Hz is insane. It's also very bright and durable. Photos: Photos are fine. Given sufficient light, images should come out detailed. I haven't tried to shoot at night or in suboptimal situations less but it seems fine. Video: Video is fine but only offers 4K at 30 fps, and 1080p at up to 60 fps on the rear camera. The front camera doesn't offer 60 fps at any resolution but I fould only get 1080p. Still, smart stabilization is offered at both resolutions on both cameras. Value: I missed the best deal at $249 but bought it at $299. For this price, this is a phenomenal deal! While it is not an inexpensive phone, the build quality, display, performance, and battery are all hallmarks of a more expensive phone. This is a great upgrade from a recent budget phone or one 2 years or older. If you're looking for something to feel fast without breaking the bank, the Moto Edge 2024 is it. This phones has one Nano and one E-SIM. Regarding the messages issue, that's an iOS issue. Yurn of imessage on your old phone and deregister from the website. Finallyz have your iPhone folks change your chat to SMS. Doung so should see all messages come through. Same thing happened to my son switching to a 2024 Razr.

    Returned because it was a defective peice. BBY charged restocking fees $45 saying the item was opened. How can I see if the item is defective or not without opening

    Bought the phone 6 months ago and hate it. No notes app installed and the apps on google play aren't any good. Does not store screenshots in the photos, no back button, swipe 2 times to unlock screen, setting the alarm for a 1 time use is a pain. After having a iPhone and a Samsung, this phone is crap. I should have just spent the money and bought another Samsung.

    This phone has been VERY glitchy, most especially when trying to use it with basic Bluetooth functions. It messes up allot when I use it with my earbuds, my car, and with my watch.
