    I can't see why i would not recommend this device! The one thing that does come to mind is the length of updates which is good for this brand.

    It arrived on the agreed day and even when opening the package. The box came with the protection seal open. The cell phone protection label was fine.

    The touch screen is very sensitive and there is no way to adjust the sensitivity or vibration intensity.

    Frozen too many times

    This phone would’ve been amazing but it had one problem that just happened too many times so I had to return it. The problem was it kept freezing and the last time it happened the phone froze for hours and I couldn’t turn the phone off couldn’t go to the home screen or nothing. Now I did have the phone for a few weeks before this finally happened. So I returned just in time before I ran out of that return time.

    I bought this phone about two weeks ago. I have been watching the price online for over a year before I took the plunge and got it. Here are my first impressions. I am most impressed by the components of the phone. The processor is very fast compared to my old phone (Motorola G7). The amount of memory is also impressive. The camera is a definite improvement from my old phone as well. I like the display and how the only blank space on the screen is the small hole for the front facing camera. I really appreciate the rounded edges of the screen and the ability to click closer to the edges than I was able to with my old phone. I am having a little difficulty misclicking on the edges, but that is just due to my big fingers, not a problem with the phone. I'm retraining myself how to hold the phone to avoid this. I was hoping the price would have gone down a year ago when the 2024 model came out, but this model does have superior components. In fact, before purchasing, I compared this phone to Google Pixel and Samsung Galaxy phones. For the price and components of the phones (processor , memory, camera, etc.) the Motorola Edge+ 2023 stood out by far as the best value, even considering the fact that it will receive fewer updates. Overall I'm very pleased with the Motorola Edge+ 2023. Just for reference, my previous phone was bought in 2019; it was not a current model either. I kept it for six years and it kept plugging along. I have been very pleased with Motorola phones, and this phone reinforces that.

    I bought this device at BB less than 2 mos. ago. BB sales associate was terrific. The choice was between this and the S23 Ultra. I made the wrong choice. Edge+ 2023 unlocked worked fine for 1-2 days, then Android Updates came through and it went downhill from there. Edge lights quit working and phone became glitchy. Everyday has brought new issues. Joined the Lenovo/Moto forum and the agents there are technically illiterate, but great at plausible deniability. So, contacted Support via phone and that was another nightmare- complete idiocy. They did send me a service RA, but to tell the truth, I've zero confidence in sending it back for service. I bought this phone NEW, and do not want what they deem as 'certified reconditioned' as a replacement. 'Certified' and what we've experienced, thus far, from Lenovo/Motorola don't belong in the same conversation. So, honestly, buy this device at your own risk, like I did. Research Lenovo/Motorola and you'll clearly see what we're talking about. Thank God we didn't waste more money on extended service plan- that would've just chained me to the Lenovo/Moto idiocy for even longer. We're just going to patiently wait for the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra release. #BuyerBeware

    Overall a good phone, love the fast charging. had some glitches (freezing and non responsive apps) initially but seems to have working pretty smooth now.

    I love the phone but when I make a call my family tells me they cannot hardly hear me, is there a fix for this?

      We're sorry to hear about this concern Brite. Let me help you with that.
      1. Ensure that the microphones or speakers on the device are not covered.
      2. Ensure the protective film that ships with the device have been removed.
      3. If you are using a case, cover, or screen protector on the device, I would recommend removing and trying without it.
      4.Try power-cycling the phone. To do this, power the phone completely off, wait a minute then power back on.
      5. If you still face the same problem, I would suggest you test the Speaker and Microphone in the Device Help application and check. To test the Speaker and Microphone, open the Device help application in the menu>>Fix>> Hardware Test>>Speaker and Microphone>> 'BEGIN TEST' and check if it is working or not. If you are able to hear the sound please restart the phone and check and there is no issue with the Speakerphone and Microphone.

    Guess it's ok. It doesn't hold a candle to the LG phones which are unfortunately no longer made. Setting things like ringtones, notification sounds and other things cause you to go thru way too many steps to accomplish one thing. Getting an acceptable keyboard is also a huge, step-filled chore. Not happy about that but it's a phone.
