    Refurbished unit with screen scratches

    I purchased a refurbished unit with was listed as in excellent condition. However, the unit that I received had some scratches on the screen. Otherwise, the phone works great!

    The sales person that helped us, hyped up this phone way too much, ita not what we expected to be. Not working the way we wanted . Not happy with the buy.

    BUYER BEWARE!! NO HDR or Dolby Vision on NETFLIX

    Great Display, but pretty much worthless since NETFLIX does not support HDR or Dolby Vision on this phone OR its non-US model the Edge 40 Pro. In fact, it looks like NETFLIX has NEVER whitelisted ANY Motorola phones for HDR playback. A supposed " flagship killer" should have at least HDR playback capability in Netflix like any modern Samsung or Pixel phone. Moreover, I was charged a $45 restocking fee for the "privilege" of finding out that the phone doesn't offer the features it advertises when I returned it. BAIT and SWITCH at it's finest!!

    I've been having issues with this since I've gotten it. It freezes constantly and is slippery for now apparent reason. It's always sliding on even the slightest of inclines.

    The phones are terrific, the experience buying the phones was not so much. When I arrived I saw the employee with a couple applying for credit card there was a random employee hovering over the desk waiting for about 10 minutes and then she left and I was not acknowledged about 25 minutes in the original employee asked me if I needed anything, I told him the phones that I wanted and he called for another employee 10 minutes later the third employee comes by oversees the original couple while the original employee goes to get my phones, as I am rung up I told the employee that I was using a gift card my personal card and the remainder on the credit card, the employee proceeded to charge my gift card then place the entire left balance on my personal card, he didn't called a 4th employee who came and avoided the transaction, you didn't call a fifth employee to oversee him as he checked me out. I asked if they price matched because at the time the phones were being offered for 539.99 and I was told that they do not price match Motorola's websites, how could I save myself a trip and gas and time but just purchasing them from the website as I ended up paying $599.99 for them. I asked if they can price match due to the long wait time and the transaction debacle and I was told no and then the technician tossed my phones in a bag and hand it to me quite harshly.

    All about this phone was okay. One thing regret that I have in mind is 2 slot sim card but 1 must be e sim. Should be convenient not all sim card already have e sim. Even in the description said 2 sim card without explanation that one only can use esim only.

    Would have been great, BUT... This was an open box item. Excellent cosmetic condition from what I've seen. However Best Buy dropped the ball on this phone. The previous owner was not required to reset all Cloud data and remove their Google email account from this device. No one within Best Buy verified this device upon return and upon shipping it out to me! Now I can't even get past the initial setup screen, due to it asking me for the last known email address associated with the device for previous setup! How am I supposed to know this?! So I'm having to return the device and I will be doing so today, Best Buy better not charge me a restocking fee either! I've purchased an open box Motorola phone in the past without any such issues. This is why I took the chance on the Edge+ !

    The phone only has 5g it will not let you change between the 5,4,3 g . Do Internet connection is an issue when the 5 g will not connect.

    Best Buy has a 100% record of screwing up orders. I bought this phone for my dad and when I opened up the box the charger and cable was replaced with a three year old Verizon charger and cable. This phone was supposed to ship with a 68w turbo charger. Customer service was useless to fix the problem.

    It's a decent phone but it only can change on the factory charger. I haven't found a aftermarket that doesn't freeze and lock phone. It will shut of at night so if your like me and use your phone for an alarm this phone is not for you. It slows down when a few apps are running.

    If I could give this 0 I would. This was the 4th Motorola phone I purchased over 12 months. The first three were refurbished so I assumed that was why they were shorting out and not able to charge - shutting down for no reason, screen freezing, and a LOT of frustration. Bestbuy tells me I need to call Motorola, Motorola tells me they'll "fix" the phone and send it back. Basically refurbished. Another problem phone.

    1st I get the wrong phone then when I go back for the right one they charge me full price and not honor the 100.00 off for switching!!! And to top things off I STILL CAN'T GET THE SERVICE!!! MY OLD SERVICE RELEASED MY NUMBER ALREADY AND MY NEW SERVICE STILL CANT ADD ME.. SO RIGHT NOW I HAVE TO TAKE BOTH CELL PHONES WITH ME!!!! I CAN DIAL WITH BOTH AND ONLY ANSWER WITH MY OLD SERVICE!!!!!
