Announced as part of the initial batch of smart watches based off of Google's Android Wear platform in spring 2014, the then uniquely round faced Motorola Moto 360 represented the hallmark of this new collection of accessories for your Android-based smartphone. Here is the bottom line regarding this watch: Technology - The components inside this watch aren't as new as some of its competitors. The battery capacity may not be as large as its competitors and the overall size of the watch might be somewhat bulky by comparison. What you'll come to find out, as I did, is that the Moto 360 is, **overall all**, the best offering in terms of styling and acceptable capabilities of any Android Wear device currently available (as of Dec 2014). Battery life - if you intend to configure your Moto 360 to have the screen lit up displaying the time constantly, you are very likely going to struggle to make it through one day on a single charge regardless of how much you use it. Thankfully the default is to keep the screen dark until tapped or if the user raises their wrist up to check the time (which this gesture works most of the time). Given this setting you'll be less likely to get the battery low warnings (which start at 15% remaining) before 10-12+ hours of daytime use. Nightly charging in either case is going to be a requirement but the upside is the charger is fast and is a nice ascetic addition to your nightstand. Features - this watch is as well outfitted as pretty much every other Android Wear smart watch. Motorola adds some additional items such as the "Connect" app running on your smartphone which allows you to manage your Motorola accessories such as your Moto 360. On the watch, "Moto Body" acts as an overlay to Google's Fit health tracking options by offering to track calories, heart activity, heart rate, and step counting. Sadly, I have found multiple bugs around the heart activity and step counting. Previous days will sometimes incorrectly state 0 steps taken when in fact 10-14k steps were completed while wearing the watch. Also, the heart rate functionality works best when the device is affixed quite snuggly to your wrist - which may not be comfortable for all if wearing it that way all day. If you own an Android Phone (required to use Android Wear devices such as this) and you feel compelled to get a smart watch, the Moto 360 has acceptable technology inside which won't leave you wanting and above average styling which won't leave you feeling like you strapped on a calculator watch pulled straight out of the 1980s.

This watch is awesome and works great. Easy to pair to phone thru android wear app. Classy and causl wear. Heart rate monitor works flawlessly. Cause change watch face and there are apps that let you create your own watch face.

Great watch! The styling is great and the functionality as well. More and more stock watch faces released with more downloadable and customizable through several apps. Used for golf GPS as well with certain apps. Works great!

As more and more apps get released this watch gets more fun and more useful. Ive used this watch since release and have not had any trouble with battery life what-so-ever.

This watch has some WAY cool features (find my phone, custom faces), but right now I can't get the voice commands to work at all. I've had some phone issues so I don't want to be too harsh, but I paid full price and I'm not sure it's worth that.

I am really amazed that this Moto 360 is still working after 4 years of wearing it almost daily. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the difficulty finding bands that work with it because of the design. I can tell the battery is starting to loose some of its capacity though as it drains faster once it hits 50%. But as far as functionality goes it still does everything at a pretty good pace with minimal lag. Which is quite impressive based on the chip set it uses. It has been a very solid performer & has taken all kinds of abuse as I am a Adventure motorcycle rider & do quite a bit of off road riding while wearing this watch.

2nd one with a big honking dead pixel in the same spot as the first one I returned. Sorry buy at 250.00 I expect it to be flawless and as with the first one I to returned.. Once I noticed the single white dead pixel... It was impossible to ignore. Otherwise the new update sent the battery life into overdrive... I got an easy 24 hours + with moderate use.. If youre on the fence about it.. I would buy it or wait till the toyish looking Gwatch R at 299.99,
