Love This Watch
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I owned this watch for approximately 2 month and I love, it is best android smartwatch out there not only because it work awesome but it looks beautiful. The initial software right out the box was not the best but it got better over time with updates. Battery life was the issue for a lot of people, and to be honest it was not that bad it will last at least over 8hrs without a need to be charged. After the 2 updates battery life has gotten better I tested it and last me 26hrs and still had 18% battery left. The battery charge will drain fast depending on the watch face, the more complex the face the faster it will drain, the simplest will last you longer such as the stock watchfaces. This watch has a heart rate sensor is hit and missed sometimes you’ll may have to run it twice due to bad reading, most of the time you’ll get it on the first read if you wear it tight. The sensor on the front of the watch is dam accurate if you have the ambient screen off the watch will turn on when you twist your wrist to look at the time. This watch does not have a speaker like the gear watch so you cannot have a phone conversation on the watch, but it does have a mic for voice commands. The voice command is really good and accurate due to it uses Google’s voice and the internet from your phone. You can use the mic to reply to text messages or other voice feature such as voice search or call someone. Another neat feature of the watch is the wireless charging and how fast it does it, just let it sit on the charger and you’ll be set in about hour or so depending how low the battery level. If you use Google now you will love this all your now cards are sent to the watch. Overall this watch is awesome and looks beautiful despite the small black line at the bottom of the watch where one of the sensor is located over time you will forget that is there. This watch is very customizable including the watch band I have the pebble metal band with it, and with the Facer app and Facerepo.com you can have a watchface for any occasion or styles.

Best smartwatch out there!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is by far the best smart watch out there! It is extremely comfortable which allows me to wear it everyday for an extended period of time. Battery lasts throughout the day with moderate to heavy usage. No gripes as long as I can get through a full day with it.

Just amazing
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love love love this watch. I get tons of compliments everywhere. The battery has lasted me all day with no problems. I took it off the charger at 8 am and put it back on before bed at 11pm with 38% still left on it. Don't hesitate to buy one if u can. This makes android so freaking cool.

Design beautiful, battery life not so much
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this a few days ago and wanted to test it out before I actually made a review. I have the stainless steel with gray band. The watch looks amazing. The screen of descent quality. The interface of Android Wear seems to be fine. Its responsive. It works well when it works. The issues I have with it start with what everyone is having issues with, the battery is horrible. It last barely 11-12 hours in the day with light use. If you actually use it then you're gonna get less. maybe 8-10 hours of use. Now with that said the little battery charges pretty quick. With in an hour to and hour and half its back up to full charge. Which is great but I don't want to have to charge it before my day ends. The charger isn't that bulky to take with me but I really don't want to have to take it with me. As far as everyday use. It disconnects about 3-7 times a day. Which at times can be a little annoying. But the voice commands work well. People complained about it turning on when you move around. I see it do this every once in a while but not that often. I even took to the gym and I didn't see it turn once. During other stuff like in class or at work, i didn't really have this issue either. The watch is lightweight and feels great on my wrist. Its just having any other watch on. I think the light sensor could work a little better. It doesn't register as quickly as it should. I think it also needs an option to only turn on with the push of the button. This would definitely save on battery life. Honestly, I think Motorola probably could easily have a update tweak that could fix this battery issue. If it could be pushed out till like 16 hours of battery life then it would be fine. I could get through the day and be fine. Would I recommend everyone to get one? No. If you in the market to get a smart watch anyways, yes it definitely a good choice. It just needs some fixes to address the battery and connection issues then this would be THE watch to get. Come Motorola I know you have to have something up your sleeve your working on to bump it up a little that's all we're asking!

Posted .The device needs to download a software update after initial setup, and this does eat a lot of battery. However, after the update is installed, the battery life will improve. Also consider that anytime you've got a new piece of tech, you're probably going to be using it / playing with it a lot more than you would once you've had it for a while and gotten used to it. Give it a few days, even a week, and then see how you feel about it.

Best Android Watch Available
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Moto 360 looks sharp. The display is clear, construction is top notch and it just feels good to wear it. There is a fair amount of fashion that goes into how well people accept wearable tech. Up to this point smart watches have looked sorta nerdy. They remind me of the old calculator watches that were around in the 80s or 90s. This watch is the first smart watch that I've seen that really turned my head. Pair that with the good parts of Android Wear and you have one killer watch. Pros - Premium construction Very stylish Extremely cool wireless charging solution Vibrant screen Battery recharges to full in less than 30 minutes Cons - Battery lasts less than a day with regular use Android Wear needs some work. (Not the fault of the watch) I highly recommend this smart watch.

Best smartwatch available.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been following this watch for some time, and after the initial reviews I was hesitant about the battery life. However, after using this watch for some time now, I'm convinced that it's a good bet for what is still a very new field of devices. Also, with the update released recently (9/26/14), the battery life and responsiveness have both increased tremendously. The watch works well with notifications, and it's generally unobtrusive. Also, I was worried about this watch being huge from other reviews, but holding it up to my old watch, I found it to be pretty reasonably sized. I wear cuffed shirts for work on a regular basis, and it fits under my sleeves now problem. Pros: -Very lightweight -Battery can now last well over a day of moderate use. If you use it heavily, it should make it well over a work day, and likely 10-12 hours. -Very responsive after update, and I'm noticing no lag. -The voice recognition was great, and I've found myself using my watch to respond to texts. Cons: -Battery isn't like a pebble, so you should charge it every night, maybe two. -Notifications seem to be tied to cards on google now, so if you dismiss them from your watch, you won't see the update on your phone within an hour or so, depending on what it is. -Face support. Facer is an excellent app for finding new watch faces, but there are only 10 faces or so stock. Overall, I would recommend this for anyone interested in a smartwatch. It is a beautiful piece of hardware that functions as a timepiece and an adjunct to your smartphone.

Only watch I wear now.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wasn't sure that i would like it before i bought it. Even after the purchase i was thinking i would return it. After a few days i put on one of my other watches and found myself looking at it when my phone would go off. I found that i used it a lot more than i let myself believe. With that being said it is now the only watch i wear, unless going to a formal event. I keep my phone on silent so it wont bother anyone and the watch will vibrate when something comes through. As a plus it measures your heart rate and steps throughout the day. This is hands down one of the coolest and most productive things i have bought for my phone. People will either be amazed or laugh at you :) It no longer bothers me either way now.

Moto 360 FTW!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The great thing about the Moto 360 is that the Moto 360 is itself a great thing! The notifications are great and convenient, and there are already quite a few applications for Android Wear to do some pretty spiffy things. The downside is that the battery is 300mA, not 320mA like Moto is advertising, and the accelerometer/gyro sensor wakes the device constantly while driving. I lose 20% battery per hour behind the wheel. When not driving, or when the watch is stationary and off my wrist while driving, I can wear the watch from 6 AM to 10 PM and have 35%+ battery remaining.

Posted .The typical battery capacity for Moto 360 is 320 mAh and the minimum is 300 mAh. In the mobile industry, sometimes both the minimum and typical capacity is listed on the battery, with the typical capacity quoted as the official battery size. Both figures are included on the batteries of our Moto X, Moto E and Moto G devices. In the case of smaller devices, we aren’t always able to list both figures. For Moto 360 we only had room for one figure and choose to list the minimal capacity of the battery. We see how this can be confusing and we will look into ways to add the typical capacity as well in the future.

Moto360 = Beautiful, Android Wear = Garbage
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought the Moto360 because its a good looking watch. Coming from a Samsung Gear 2 Neo, I thought I would get the same functionality out of it. I was wrong. Android Wear is a step backwards. Turns the watch into just a notification center. Thats it...... really??? No speaker phone, calculator, Dialer, Remote, Find my device calling.......etc. Not worth the price for Android Wear.

Gorgeous watch with a huge flaw.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is by far the prettiest smartwatch on the market. You can wear it with your suits or casual clothes to the gym. The leather band is comfortable and has plenty of notches to fit perfectly. It’s lighter than you would expect from the pictures. I got plenty of compliments when wearing this android wear. The heart rate monitor is a huge plus over the other devices. It doesn’t seem as responsive as other android wear devices I have used. The biggest problem with this watch, is the battery. Yes I can turn off the display and I can cripple the watch to last the whole day with no problem. That is just not a watch. If the screen is off and you raise it to your face to see the time, sometime you have to wait. Sometimes it doesn’t come on and you HAVE to press the button. Yes I know this sound minor, but doing this all day it becomes a pain. If I have to do that, I might as well pull my phone from my pocket to check the time. Yes I have tried all the different reviews (turn off screen, calibrate the battery, decrease brightness, etc.) and nothing makes it a good “Watch” to use. I compared this watch to the LG G Watch today, with the moto having a decreased brightness. When I left the office at 5:30pm, the moto360’s battery level was 23% while the LG had 70%. The only other issue with thing is the location of the microphone. It is located on the side of the unit. When you raise the watch to speak into it, your mouth is facing the bottom of the watch, where they should have located the mic. I believe this is the reason for some of the voice recognition problem I experience with it. If you are looking at a watch to wear that will fit your suits or casual wear, and not really wanting the full experience of a smart watch, this is the one for you. If want a smartwatch to replace your watch, get notifications and be more what android wear is supposed to be, then look elsewhere.

A very happy Owner
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The moto 360 I've had for about two weeks now. Battery life is not bad as some have said. There's absolutely no reason to have the screen set to on all the time. Leave it at the default and get over a day of battery. I get about two days. And that's with text and many other notifications coming through. For an average user I'd say. Looks amazing on the wrist. I get compliments and wows from so many people everyday.

Fantastic Watch!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is hands down the best smartwatch to date. Besides being so difficult to get your hands on, there are so many fantastic things about the 360 I'm not even sure where to start. I'll keep this as concise as possible. Screen - Super bright, easily visible in direct sunlight (unlike most smartphones out there!), the rounded bezel is just gorgeous, and the small "flat tire" at the bottom is barely noticeable. The only issue is that the display is a little on the low side of pixel density, but not too big of a deal. Build quality - absolutely solid. Stainless steel feels great, horween leather is super soft and comfortable and still smells like new after 2 weeks of use Battery life - lots of complaints can be heard from everywhere, but if you leave ambient mode off, you can easily get battery life of up to 30-40 hours. I currently sit at 27% and have been off the charger for 28 hours. (granted 7 of those hours was idle b/c I was asleep; purposely left it off the charger to test battery life). Honestly, I feel a smartwatch should have battery life of greater than a few days, but if you don't mind charging it up every night, you will never need to baby the battery during the day. Performance - There was a tiny bit of lag when I first got it, but the update that came out last night (9/24) basically fixed almost everything. Now there are no bluetooth drops ever and zero lag. I expect future updates to make this watch feel even better than ever. This is really impressive for Moto to pull off, considering they're using a processor that is 4 years old. Usability - Android wear is honestly still unpolished. It feels a bit unintuitive at times, with google now cards not doing what you think they would do, with google search being your gateway to all the actions, and with only a handful of apps that currently support android wear. Of course, I fully understand that, as an early adopter, this is what to expect for a first iteration of anything android. That's why I have really high hopes for this 360 as time goes on. When google now works for you, it works amazingly. I love seeing how long it will take me to go somewhere right before I leave the house, I love the ability to set location based reminders, and I love being able to act on emails and texts without ever pulling my phone out of my pocket. The software and hardware may be in its infancy, but I am so excited for the future of my 360. Overall, I would 110% recommend this to anyone on the fence about it. Get it first and you will fall in love with it, I guarantee it!!!

beautiful watch. battery life was plain bad unfort
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really liked this watch and idea of having a smart watch that would go well with my Samsung note 4. Beautiful colorful screen and connection to the phone was 100% solid. I did however end up returning it because battery life was quite bad. With moderate use it was out of juice in about 8-9 hours so can hardly say it lasted a day. I have heard the new one is on the horizon so hopefully this one will be better as far as battery goes then I would definitely consider getting it. Pretty neat useful gadget.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Moto 360 is a device that you can want show off. design wise it's absolutely beautiful and paired with Android Wear it is very functional giving me the right notifications at the right time. The battery is something that a lot of people talk about but this isn't a phone it is a notification center on your wrist. for me battery life is absolutely amazing I'm able to get through a day and a half with it mainly because I'm not in my "honeymoon phase" anymore with. I would absolutely recommend this device to anyone that wants to have great design and great functionality on their wrist!

Love my Moto 360
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I waited impatiently for this watch and I have to say that it was worth it. I have no issues with battery life since the purchase and the update received recently actually improved it. I am able to see all of my notifications, see the time and my steps. It's a great little device for a 1st gen. Can't wait to see what the other releases have to offer.

wish I liked it
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just bought this watch with the highest desire to like it. After reading the reviews of this device along with other similar devices I decided on it. I had an initial excitement and dove into the watch when I got it home but couldn't get over the android operating system. I have a Moto X cell and love it so I figured the moto watch would bring me the same satisfaction, I was wrong. I found the singular button on the side a bit finicky and it took me a few moments to figure out how to navigate the OS. After I had discovered the navigation I just felt the watch was more gadgety and less functional. I did enjoy the design of the physical appearance, but that's not good enough for me. Just didn't like the overall experience with the watch. Less than 24 hours after opening the package it was back at the store and I got my money back. Here I come pebble!

Great hardware, software above expectations
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. They really designed this as a watch first, that happens to have a LCD and micro processor strapped to it. It's hard to tell it's a smartwatch and it's why I went with the Moto 360 over the S Watch and the Galaxy Gear, which look "geeky". Android wear is consistently getting better every day and more apps are becoming available. I absolutely love being able to see text messages right on my wrist. Biggest unadvertised feature of the watch: Turn by Turn Directions Android Wear has great turn by turn directions, with the watch giving you a vibration at each turn and showing you the turn right on your wrist. This would have made me even more likely to buy the watch.

Sleek and Functional
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Moto 360 is a must have for every techie. Not only is Android Wear pretty sweet, but it's very functional. I love the look of the Moto 360 and it's very easy to set up. I've been getting nothing but compliments on it. It's a bit bulky, but after about 20 minutes, I got used to it. What I will warn everyone is that the gray band in the picture is much darker than what it is up close. From a distance, the gray band looks like a light blue. If you're debating on getting this watch, stop debating and call a store ASAP to find out when the next shipment may be. Also, when you first get it, you need to charge it before you do anything.
