I love the size of the face, I had the 360 first edition and it was OK, just large. This one is perfect and get tons of compliments on it. The battery lasts all day and get many notifications throughout day. Very happy and satisfied.

This watch has helped me track everything I need to track in regards to health and fitness. I can't believe the technology behind this watch it is the smartest smart watch. It fits great is light weight and looks classy. I can wear it with anything for any occasion it goes with everything and being able to change the faces is even better.

Definite improvement over the 1st Gen 360

I bought this mainly because my first generation Moto 360 was just too big for my wrist. I kept the old 360 for so long because there was just nothing smaller to replace it with, but with the release of the 42mm 360, there was finally an Android Wear watch out there that looked great and didn't look ridiculous on my wrist. Functionally, it works a lot like the previous 360. It's definitely faster, and the ambient screen mode actually works as it should this time. Battery life seems slightly better. The Marshmallow update has added some cool new functionality, like more wrist gestures, doze mode, and now when you turn the watch towards you and the screen lights up, it will automatically dim when you move the watch away from you (like dropping your arm back to your side) to save battery. The 360 also has the best charging method of any of the current crop of watches -- just drop it on the dock and you're done. It charges pretty quickly, too. The main complaint is the "flat tire" on the face of the watch -- apparently that is a trade-off for the ambient light sensor, you get flat tire or a bigger bezel, I prefer a smaller bezel. So, if you've used Android Wear, and you liked it, you'll like the 360. I tried the Pebble Time for a few days and took it back, it's just way too primitive compared to Android Wear, and the Android integration is just not as deep. Looking forward to seeing what the future of Wear holds.

I absolutely love my Moto 36!! It handles all of my notifications with ease, great voice recognition software, 2 day battery life.I love all of the available watch faces and how easy it s to change the bands. Well worth the money for people who are always on the go and get a lot of notifications.

I love this. I first bought it for my husband for his birthday. He loved it then when he went looking he wanted the bigger watch. We ended up getting that for him as he likes the bigger watches. I took this one and I haven't had an issue with it yet. Works great and I love how easy it is to operate and use your own pictures for backgrounds on it. I would definitely recommend this watch to a friend. After buying ones that say they can do this or that but couldn't really do much of anything, we were skeptical with this at first too. I am so glad we decided to try it out it is well worth the investment.

It is definitely a great watch. It runs very smoothly. I love it and I am glad I purchased it. I had a SM3 and it doesn't even compare to the moto 360 2. The only small complaint I have is the battery life. Aside from that this is a solid smart watch. I would definitely recommend it.

This was my first smart watch purchase, as I have been waiting for smaller form factor watches to hit the market. The 42mm size is great for men with small wrists like me, and there is an even slimmer band-option for women (also a 42mm size watch body). Motorola definitely has the right concept when it comes to customization, since not only can you design when you buy from them directly, but you can swap out their bands with any matching standard size from other manufacturers. The design of the watch itself is elegant, with clean lines and solid quality materials. The band was also well made and felt comfortable, although I would switch from a leather to a non-sweat absorbing material for sports or other high energy activities. The screen is beautiful, with the exception of the much criticized "flat tire" section at the bottom, which is there to accommodate the ambient sensor (apparently)., Not sure why no other manufacturer has the same slice out of the bottom, but perhaps this is Motorola's way of saying "hey, this is a Moto 360!"... because all these watches look very similar from a distance. Android Wear is still sometimes awkward and even painful to use at times. I had a similar experience on Apple Watch, so it seems everyone has something to learn in this arena still (except Samsung, who has nailed the smart-watch UI concept on the Gear S2). App selection with Android Wear is acceptable, especially considering I would only use about a dozen apps at most... I can't even imagine what the 10K+ apps that Apple has for their watch are even for... I did end up returning my purchase of the 360 due to a defective accellerometer (wrist gestures didn't function after about a day), but I would buy again, and I do recommend this to anyone wanting a smaller form-factor Android Wear watch that looks like a real watch.

I purchased the 42mm black stainless steel version. Paired with an Android phone running the latest version this works very well. Notifications are reliable, and it was very easy to set up and to use. Battery life is much better than expected. Usually get 16 hours a day with 15-20% remaining, if not more. The only issue and complaint that I have is about the black stainless steel band. The finish wears off way too easily. I wore it for 1 week, and the only thing the band touched was my office desk while typing, and the finish wore off. Motorola sent me some replacement links, but still expected a bit more durability from a $350 watch. The band is the only thing keeping this from being a full 5 stars.

To be completely honest I was not even in the market to buy a smart watch. I was still in the mindset of "I want a REAL fashionable watch." Since I had an abundance of BB gift cards laying around and no idea of what to purchase with them I started looking into the smartwatch market. I narrowed my search down to the Moto 360 because of the fact that I could wear it with just a black face and not be so much like a digital watch. I also like the fact that it linked to my phone and every notification my phone received, my watch received it also. Now that I've had my watch for almost two months, I rarely even look at my phone anymore unless I'm making a phone call. It has also been helping me keep up with my fitness goals, which is a plus. Long story short two months in and I have had zero problems with the watch. I don't regret my purchase at all.

Easily synchs with my iphone. Love having weather, texts, notifications on the wrist. Setting reminders to the watch is nice. Wish it could reply to texts with iphone, but liked the layout and that the watch could always stay on and easily make it through the day more than switching to Apple watch.

I selected the Moto watch over other brands because it works with my Android phone. I had issues right away, but went back to the store and the salesman fixed it. Just the other day it stopped counting steps and I had to reset everything. I have only had the watch since Christmas. So...other than that issue I love the styling, it does lots of things I don't even use, and I like it -- for now!

Before purchasing, I demo'd my friend's 1st Gen Moto360. I felt it was slow, clunky, and had horrible battery life. This 2nd Gen 42mm is none of the above. The processor future proofs the device for new OS updates/features, it's noticeably faster, 42mm is the perfect size to replicate the look/feel of an analog watch, and the battery is incredible. I can easily get 2-3 days off of one charge if I keep ambient mode off with moderate use. For an IT professional, this is a perfect fit and eliminates the need for me to constantly pull my phone from my pocket to check important emails.

I have had the 360 2nd gen for 3 days now paired with my iPhone 6 and it works great! It does what I need it to do Heart rate, steps, calories, notifications and more. There are some draw backs to it because of iOS but nothing major, the worst is not being able to reply to texts but I'm fine with that. I got this because it looks better than the Apple Watch in my opinion and the battery life is great!

Much Improved over the First Generation

All in all, substantial improvement over prior versions. I've had the Moto 360 and the Asus ZenWatch. Battery life is substantially improved (I get 2-3 days on a single charge), and it's pretty easy to use. The sensors are much improved, so I feel like I get a much more accurate read on steps and heart rate. On the negatives - like all my prior smartwatches, it took some time to set it decide which notifications I wanted on this watch versus the notifications that could wait until I got to my phone. And please - when I dismiss a notification, please don't just go to the next. If you're a gadget person - this is worth the buy. If you don't need to be on the bleeding edge, you may want to wait for a touch more refinement.

I just wanted a watch, most of the time I don't use much of the extra functionality, so far the best part of the watch are the notifications, the ability to change the watch faces, and that it looks like a real watch while it has a black watch dial, otherwise the flat tire design shows and kills the illusion.

At this point, smart watches are just fashion statements without much practical functionality. The Moto 360 is not a head turner, but looks great on your wrist. Good built quality and decent battery life (about 1.5 days as expected from any smart watch these days)

Great watch and easy to sync with an Android device using "Android Wear", can't comment on iOS devices. Having all of your notifications, email, caller ID and calendar items right on your wrist without needing to reach for your smartphone is a great time saver, not to mention having a different watch face for every day of the week :)

This smartwatch is one of the best on the market right now. It has tons of features and with Android Wear and Google Play Market, you're able to open up even more features. Battery life is typically 2+ days of moderate use with the 'always on' screen mode off. It's handy and accurate. Plus, it helps you stay on track with your fitness by using the Google Fit apps. This model does NOT have a speaker, so you must use your phone to listen to music or make calls. You ARE able to connect bluetooth headphones and control your music through the watch, though.

Nice looking watch, but really only a watch

This is a great looking, high quality time piece that keeps perfect time. It has really fun faces -- which are easy to manage. The battery power is ok -- about a 1 day. I work out and like use my smart watch instead of my phone at the gym for music. Milk Music is really limited and does not provide the control I need to navigate my tunes on my watch. Additionally, the watch often does not reconnect to my phone when I walk out of range of bluetooth (e.g., when I go the gym and them come home) and, as a result, I miss notifications pertaining to calls, text, and e-mails unless I remember to reconnect my watch to my phone. Notwithstanding, this watch is an improvement over the first Moto -- which I enjoyed as well. Unfortunately, it functionality is significantly eclipsed by the Galaxy S2 -- which is not nearly as attractive. The S2 is seamless, quick, and has no problem do "well" the short-comings of the Moto 2 (with the exception of Google voice -- which is much better than the Galaxy S2's equivalent).
