Motorola's Moto 360 v2 that was just introduced met my every expectation for a smart watch including good looks in a round watch that's not the size of a manicle on my wrist and yet easy to read, a long enough battery charge life battery able to make it easily through more than a day, wireless recharging and plenty of apps that I want.

I had the original Moto 360 and loved it, but purchased the 2nd gen for the better battery life. I do like the looks of the 2nd gen better with the lugs for the watch band and it does sit better on the wrist. Also the battery life is much better as advertised. I get well over a full day of use now compared to the 1st gen where it would need to be charged most nights before I was going to bed.

    Great Android Wear watch

I have owned this watch for about a month and like it better the longer I own it. At first, battery life seemed very limited, but after a software update (not sure if it was an Android Wear or watch software update, or perhaps both), I now routinely get a day and a half on a charge. The charging stand works well, and charging is quick, from 40% to full in a couple of hours. Voice commands work very well, and I especially like the ability to receive and send texts without taking my phone from my pocket. I also like the ability to create lists in Google Keep on my phone, then reading them from my wrist. Having up-to-date weather on my watch is wonderful. Android Wear has had a few gliches, but these usually correct with a watch restart, which I probably have to do about once every 7-10 days. All in all, I am greatly enjoying this purchase.

I am going to start off and say, there is no reason someone NEEDS this smartwatch. With that said, I have found it to be extremely useful in my every day life. I have a log of meetings for work and it does a great job keeping me on schedule and making sure I don't miss my next meeting while I might be out talking to folks. It meets the needs for anyone who is in the fitbit crazy by keeping track of your steps and calories burned. It allows you to respond to texts, read emails, check the weather and of course check the time all without pulling your phone out of your pocket. This is great for me when I am in a meeting and don't want to make the obvious move of pulling out my phone. The greatest feature I think is that it LOOKS like a watch. You can buy normal 22mm band watched and swap them out as you see fit to meet your needs. The response of the watch is great and battery life is easily 1 1/2 days with the screen on all the time. I normally am at about 55% after taking it off the charger at 6am and putting it back on at 10:30pm. With the screen off under that same time frame it is closer to 70% at the end of the day. this is great since I will always charge it at night but I know that if I stay out late I am still good to go.

Much better than the first generation

I owned the first generation Moto 360 and loved it. It had its flaws though,. It would constantly wake up with every hit of light, killing the battery faster which made it last a little over half a day. Apart from that it began cracking at the bottom due to strain caused on the plastic edges by tightening the band and the bands were not the easiest to replace. As expected the second generation improved on all the flaws. The second generation has an always on feature, which reduces the auto wake battery use which significantly improves battery life, I can easily make it through a day now without needing a charge. There's no more worrying about cracking anymore either as the bands are on an outer hinge and are easy to replace due to the pin being outside of the watch now on the bands themselves. There are some downsides too. On the design side, the little black bar at the bottom of the watch is still there, which cuts off part of the display, but I've come top think of it as more of a defining feature of the Moto line. The screen does begin to scratch after a while, so it's best to get a scree protector soon after buying this watch. On the software side, it still feels a bit clunky and I don't completely trust the heart rate sensor 100% and buying two of these really put a dent in my wallet. For something that highly depends on access to a smartphone for full functionality, you would expect a slightly lower price point, but the quality is top notch so, it doesn't bother me too much. 9/10 would buy again

I've enjoyed this Moto 360 2nd Generation watch. Because I carry my phone in my pocket I was missing a lot of calls and messages, after doing the updates I haven't missed any. The watch vibrates pretty well and will get your attention. At first I wasn't receiving all the updates but after updating the watch to the latest update I haven't missed any. It a tad bit heavy but that's expected with this size face. The band was too small for my wrist but it does comes with extra links and after watching a few youtube videos figured out how to add them myself. The watch looks great and I usually get a few questions about it from others, great luck with it so far. I charge it every night and it lasts all day long.

I bought this for my son in law who is not a watch wearer, but once he tried this and saw all the features that it has it is absolutely a part of his everyday life and business. The notifications on it are outstanding, as is your ability to communicate with others. It keeps you updated with your calendar, your appointments, text messages, facebook Messenger messages, facebook notifications, Twitter and news feeds and the list goes on and on. Be aware of the fact that Android has numerous apps just for the watch and you can find them easily in the Google Play Store. They pair smoothly with the 360 and make what is a great watch even greater! I have the ladies version for myself and I just wouldn't want to be without it. I would absolutely recommend this watch for anyone who's considering a SmartWatch and uses Android. You will absolutely be amazed and extremely satisfied with your purchase.

I was a user of the first generation Moto 360, and while I really liked it, it really did feel like a first attempt product. The second generation has ironed out many of the irks that I had with the first one. The battery size has been increased and a new Snapdragon processor has been used. I regularly get 17 hours out of my watch, with the screen function on all day, and still go to bed every night with over 50% remaining! This is a huge improvement from gen 1. I also like the new lugs that have been added to the watch, in my opinion it gives it a more classic watch look. The display clarity has been increase, so everything is a little more crisp. All in all, I'm impressed with what Moto has brought to the table on this iteration of the 360....wonder what's in store for next year?

It's not the best out but it's not the worst. The style aspect was the buying factor for me. It looks like a modern large faced watch. I don't expect much, but I look forward to improvements as the tech gets better. It does everything the Comp does and looks better doing it.

I wasn't sure a wearable would really improve the usability of my smartphone, BUT after trying it out, the future is clearly there. Being able to quickly check on messages from my watch, without pulling out my phone is much better and less intrusive to others I'm with. The Moto360 connects to all your favorite apps and is simple to use and setup. You'll only know if it's for you though if you try it out. I'll bet that after you try it, you'll be sold.

I had the Gen 1 Moto 360 from release day. The battery was woefully poor. This new unit has a better battery and is more efficient. I love this new iteration. The design is improved too.

If you're looking for a smart watch that actually LOOKS like a watch, this is what you want to buy, its not an ugly square shape like that apple watch, this is actually stylish and atleast once a day, a rarandom person compliments me on it. It's also a great companion to my cellphone, I can view any notifications and my news for the day on here as well. I would totally recommend getting one if you're just looking at Android wear watches at the moment.

The watch was a gift to my husband. After reading the Best Buy reviews and checking cnet... it was the nicest one for the price. While he hasn't used it to the fullest potential, he loves it. We love the look of it, as it doesn't have the cheapo plastic band of other smart watches.

Before I review I want to state you can use this watch for Apple, but my experience is solely on Android using the Android Wear App. The Moto 360 2nd Gen is a beautiful watch. The dual core processor helps with the battery life which hindered the 1st Gen. It is a very convenient companion device to my cell phone. With "Ok Google" voice recognition, I am able to add reminders, set alarms, text people all on the fly with my voice. And the voice recognition is surprisingly accurate. It has a built in pedometer and heart rate monitor for the health conscious. It is easy to check goals and progress. Just say "OK Google show me my steps" or "Ok Google what's my heart rate?" Strongly recommend if you are in the market for a smartwatch.

After having returned the first generation Moto 360, I didn't know what to expect with the 2015 model. This watch has been amazing! The battery on the 46mm lasts 2-3 days and is very responsive. It charges in about an hour and works great with my android and standalone with Wi-Fi. the screen is perfect size and having the watch straps be quick release makes them easy to change out. It's cheaper than the apple watch, and actually looks like a real watch and not a toy

I've liked the latest Moto 360 since I bought it. Looks great. Battery lasts about a day and half with ambient sensor turned off and normal use... Quite a few watch faces for you to customize the look per your liking.

The band comes in like kids size, no joke. In the box comes extra links to add to the band but, trust me.. You wont be able to add them at home. Had to take it to 2 different jewelers as the first one was not able to. Overall great smartwatch.
