Leaving it plugged in sent the device into a boot loop. The phone felt solid, but I don't think I've ever purchased a phone that was dead out of the box before. It leaves a sour taste in my mouth about Motorola, so I will be returning this product and going for another device.

As we were setting up the phone, it became clear how poorly made it is. The volume buttons are cheaply made, which is evident by the feel, and don’t work. You have to go into settings to change the volume for various apps that use volume (separate volume settings for calls, earpiece, alarm, etc.). The Honor 8s that I bought at the same time for another friend is far superior. Don’t waste your money on this.

It still does not work. i have been waiting for the case i purchased with this to get here but everyday they delay the delivery ... I figure to take both back as soon as it get here.

The Moto E4 and every other phone I have used worked with LTE. This one has some sort of bug where it will only connect to data using 3G. It works off the Sprint network. I know LTE is available in my area. I have tried everything to get it to work with LTE but it won't. I give up. I may return it or I may just keep it for a paperweight.
