I bought this phone for the sole purpose of traveling abroad. I'm an iphone user so it took some getting used to the android interface. I was annoyed that I had to open a gmail account to download apps but in the end it was very handy and the SIM card was easy to install. The 5mp camera took decent photos. Nothing compared to the iphon 6+, but thats to be expected. I would recommend this phone for people who travel or want to easily change sim cards. One thing to note. The phone only has 8mb of storage. You can pop in a 16 gb SD card but if you want your apps and info, other than photos, to be saved on the SD card, you have to format the SD card once you install it. That's easy enough to do but once it is installed, the SD card will only be readable by this device, so you can't just pop it out and pop it into your computer.

This phone exceeded my expectations, as it was easy to learn (I've never had an Android phone before) and battery charge lasts a long time. It even worked at my job, where the signal is so low most people go outside to use their phones. Phone calls are very clear, camera is decent, and it functions well for my needs.

I have no idea why Motorola isn't more popular...they are great phones. This phone has been given updates, It's running Android version 5.0.2 as of today (08/08/2015). Battery life is good. It does have the ability to easily turn off (individually to save battery life) BlueTooth, WiFi, GPS and DATA. I often work in very remote locations, where there is no signal so it's nice to turn off WiFi and DATA when there isn't any available anyway.

I bought two of these for my sister and her husband and they say it is the one they needed to be in touch, take pictures and it is simple too

The camera is very good, there is sufficient space, plus room for an SD card, although there is no 4G LTE, but other than that it's a great phone.
