I have always had top end Samsung phones in the past but didn't want to pay almost $800 for the new flagship when my current phone died. I wasn't expecting much with a phone that was 1/4 of the price but WOW! This G4 is right on par with Samsung's best. Pros:. Battery life is mind blowing! I used this phone for over 3 days, one entire day with the GPS on, got home and it still had 34% battery left! It seems to be able to last almost 5 full days on a charge. And that includes emails, texting, playing a few games, GPS maps, etc. Screen is big and bright and easy to read. Sound is excellent. Quite loud and sounds good. Not quite like an external Bluetooth speaker but awesome for a raw phone. Fast. Multitasking is no problem and the phone is as fast as any Samsung I have used. No problem activating on att. Cons:. Feels a bit flimsy and plastic like but I can tolerate that for the $600 it saved me. Pro/Con:. It is big. Thin but big. Fits in pocket if it's a big pocket. I haven't quite come up with a good way to carry it yet but it is nice having abundant screen real estate. I thought about giving it 4 stars for the cheapish feel but decided that the full 5 is totally justified because it is a minor compromise for the horsepower and features that this phone offers at such a low price.

This phone has all the great features you'll need for a decent price.The camera is on point,the speaker is very loud,and the screen is a great size. Plus this phone doesn't comes with all those pre installed apps on it and great storage space too. So if you're on a budget this is the phone to get.

Did extensive research on this phone before purchasing. It has zero bloatware and super easy to set up and use. Plus it's unlocked and you can take it to any carrier. It has nice features like:: Do No disturb, flashlight, nice camera, all the options the fancy phones have without the.mega price.

I would highly recommend this phone first for getting it at Best Buy for its price and second because it is an unlocked phone that you can use with any carrier. The phone has ample space and a good amount of processing power compared to some other phones out there that might be more affordable. I think that this is the best bang for your buck phone on the market!

I love my phone. I owned a Moto G before and it was time for an upgrade. I need a phone that I can use while traveling overseas. This newer version is larger than the original, which makes typing easier, and has a better quality camera. I give it a 5-star rating for being an overall great phone that is reasonably priced in today's market of heavily overpriced products.

As a Verizon customer that is holding onto his unlimited data for dear life, the Moto G4 fit the bill perfectly when it came time to upgrade. Phones are prohibitively expensive unless leased/purchased through a payment plan or subsidized; neither of these options are available to me while I stay an unlimited Verizon customer. The upgrade from the 1st-gen Moto X is noticeable; what I gave up in NFC capability, I have more than gained in battery life, screen size, and processor improvements. I highly recommend this phone if you do not feel the need for the latest and greatest.

We bought this for our son as his first phone. It's been a month, he is enjoying it as it fulfills all the basic requirements of smartphone. Camera is also great compared to highly paid phones but at this price it is unbeatable. He is very happy with his phone even though in our family we only used iPhone n samsung so far. We would highly recommend.

The phone is almost the same size as the iPhone 6 plus, if you have a little trouble with your eyesight, this phone is perfect for you. The battery life is unbelievable! I use my phone all day and night and at the end of the day my battery is still at 40%. Phone is easy to use and has a great resolution. The only reason I can't give 5 stars is the camera, my pictures have turned out blurry and the settings are kind of confusing. I ordered online and it was sent to the store, when I got there to pick it up the woman working told me the phone was actually even cheaper than listed! I've always had great service in the store and my online purchase was no different :)

Couldn't find a reliable battery for my old Samsung phone (Galaxy S3 Mini) so decided to upgrade. I checked reviews and the Moto G seemed worth a try. Although larger than I'd like, it's a fine phone--works much better than my old phone even at home where cell reception is abysmal. Call quality is excellent, even on speakerphone. A cool feature is display of time when you move the phone so you don't have to turn it on & off (you can disable this feature). Very good value.

I love unlocked phones and Motorola does them right. Easy to activate myself with the SIM card and easy to operate.

Incredible features, huge bright screen and 16MP camera for $200! Lots of good feature upgrades for me coming from iPhone 4. Hate that the organizing apps and ringtones are so much more limited than on the iPhone, and trying to migrate my information has been a total pain, but it's a really good phone for a really good price.

this is a great cheap phone, and a good replacement for the junk free Samsung phones T-mobile gives out. newest software and great battery life. pretty good camera too.

A bit different from the prior android phone I had, it took some time to get used to. For the price it is a good phone. If I had the money I would have purchased the plus which has more features and has more memory available.

Replaced older entry level LG smartphone which was too small for texting accurately. This phone has superior camera, is much faster and easier to use. Like the speed that it charges with Turbo charge (couple of hours usually)

I needed to replace my Moto X and my trusted Best Buy guy in mobile recommended the Moto G4. I wasn't too sure about the large size but I was leaning toward a Motorola phone so I didn't have to learn new "stuff". I've only had the phone for 2 weeks but so far I am very pleased. The camera is much better than my previous Moto X. All the features are similar, so easy to navigate. It's very light so doesn't add a lot of weight to my purse. My only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the larger size. It is nice for many reasons but a bit large to just carry. But the bigger screen is great for viewing pictures or videos so I'm sure I'll get used to it. I never really carried my phone in a pocket or anything other than my purse so it should be OK.

It took me a little time to learn how to use it. I like all the features and the great pictures it takes.

I just can't bring myself to spend so much money on phones. This phone is comparable to expensive phones in a lot of ways. It is fast, the camera is decent, and it has a nice big screen. I would recommend it.

Wanted to get something less expensive than an iPhone. I had used them for 8 years. Tried a Windows phone but did not have the apps I needed and did not like the feel of it. Tried a Android phone and am really loving it. Linux has come a long way since Slackware 3.5. This is a great phone with very little bloat. The flashlight shake is very useful too. Still learning tips and tricks with it but overall it is a good replacement for the iPhone at a fraction of the cost. I do not need a great camera as I have a SLR for taking pictures. I really have nothing bad to say about the phone.

Motorola - Moto G (4th Generation) is a good device which is affordable and durable. It came with a Android 6 reinstalled which was great. Also this is fast, touch is responsive and supports extendable memory.

Good low cost unlocked phone. Great battery life. If you are looking for a good smartphone but are looking for something less expensive than an I-phone or Samsung then you should check out this phone .
