So far, I am quite happy with the way it functions, particularly the long battery life. However, it came with many apps and enabled notifications that were just a nuisance. It took me a while to figure out how to disable them. Also, either Motorola or the newer Android system, does not seem as configurable as the older Samsung version I had before.

The phone has lots of good features and looks and has a premium look and feel. Great battery life and great fingerprint reader for security. One of it’s best feature is that it runs on basically stock Android software and easy to use. Only issue was the cameras aren’t that good for taking pictures.

Moto 5G - a decent phone for the money!

No. It's a less than $300 phone and it works pretty good. I purchased to try out Verizon Visible. I found it to have a decent camera, speakers, and is a nice weight. I've been using it during my bike rides for my biking apps, podcasts, and maps. I didn't give a five because there are quirky things with the screen, but it might be because I'm used to the higher end Galaxy models. Overall, a decent product for the cost.

Pretty decent, but didn't last long
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It's a decent phone, but it broke 11 months after purchasing it (purchased in Dec 2024, broke Nov 2025) The camera quality is ok. In the beginning Nov, it fell from a VERY SHORT height, and that's when it broke. There were lines on the screen, the phone started glitching and I was unable to type or use it. All in all, if you're extra careful about not dropping the phone, you should get a few years out of it. It's not a bad phone.

Pretty good but odd problem with phone ringer.

I got it on sale so I saved quite a bit and it has been functioning well, except for a rare problem that had several tech baffled for awhile. The phone ringer actually had a double ring. When I got a call it would start with my ring tone and then a couple seconds later there would be another version of the same ring and I could hear both at the same time. It took me quite a bit of searching to find the problem. Apparently with motorola there are two locations in the apps that you can designate a phone ring. In the phone app itself and in the moto app as well. When both are used you get a double ring, so if you find this problem, just turn one of them off.
