I use this is as a second phone for an overseas e-Sim only, so it's not my daily 'everything' phone. Five star rating because it does what it says on the box and thus represents decent value for money. I like the grippy surface on the back especially.

Decent Price Too Many Issues.

Some days, the performance is awful. It constantly loses signal when trying to connect to CarPlay, and worse, it overheats to the point where it won’t even turn on. On long drives, I’ve gone hours with a completely useless phone. I had the 2022 Moto G 5G before this, and that was way better—until it fell out of my pocket and shattered. Now I’m stuck with what feels like the worst phone in the world.

Often when I'm typing the screen glitches and closes the application on me. When listening to Pandora the sound will buzz like a radio station going out of range. It feels more like a phone from 2015 than 2024. I would not recommend. The camera is bad, like bad bad. If you're used to Samsung or Apple it is a noticeable difference in quality.

To help improve performance, we recommend restarting the phone, ensuring the latest software updates are installed via Settings > System > Software updates, and clearing app caches under Settings > Apps > See all apps > Storage > Clear cache. Clearing the cache will remove any temporary files being stored by the device. Reducing background apps and enabling Adaptive Battery may also help with stability and audio performance.
