She was able to get service while over there and call us with no issues. This is her first time having a cell phone and this one works just fine for her. She can easily take pictures and make messenger calls. The battery lasts long enough for her to travel during the day.

The basic apps ore installed, take up a lot of memory. The ones you can remove, will cause the phone to lag. To many apps will cause the phone to freeze or shut down. This phone would be good for someone who wants a basic phone to call and text and search online. If you would need to download more than 3 apps to use regularly, I do not recommend the phone.

Lags are sometimes caused by too many running apps in the background, use your recent apps button to close apps you're not using. It is also a good practice to restart the device periodically (every 2-3 days) to clear out buffers and memory that may lead to intermittent issues. Functional but slow, only buy if small budget

Feels slower today than it did when I purchased it, likely due to the surprisingly frequent "updates" that improved something I don't use. Probably avoid this phone unless it's your only budget option, in which case yeah, it is a phone that does work, eventually.
