Slow is sometimes caused by too many running apps in the background, use your recent apps button to close apps you're not using. It is also a good practice to restart the device periodically (every 2-3 days) to clear out buffers and memory that may lead to intermittent issues. Extraordinarily fragile -- with or without a case

Previous Moto's have been great values -- not this one. Extraordinarily fragile -- with or without a case and screen protector. No, I did not buy extended warranty for screen protection. This one broke after mild drop a few days after purchasing. Another mild drop, and soon after the screen imploded, went black, with no recovery. No refund (not expected), and zero credit towards another device once returned after *less* than two weeks. $125 down the drain. I will not go back to Moto at this point.
