The value for this powerhouse of a phone is nearly unbeatable. Also haven't seen any bugs yet. After researching the common problems, they are very easy workarounds compared to other phones. That was what won me over. Price and easy workarounds in worst case scenarios.

My Note 5 died about 4 weeks from the Note 8 launch so I needed a phone to hold me until the 8 was available. This phone was very similar to the Samsung phones and I was honestly surprised and impressed by how much I liked it. I recommend this phone for android users.

It has an unlockable bootloader. It is universal. It has great TWRP and ROM support on the xda site. (I'm running ResurrectionRemix 6.0 which is a great android 8.1). And it is by far the cheapest phone with these features. As a phone it is great in this price class - large, clear, bright screen, decent camera. With a tracfone SIM kit, you can try it inexpensively on all of the major carriers. It has pop out tray for a SIM and a micro SD card. No, it doesn't have a removable battery, but unfortunately none do anymore. Anyway, it's a great inexpensive phone, and for modders, it is a delight.

I wasn't sure what type or brand of phone I wanted, but a quick review of stats and the helpful assistance from the best buy crew and I have a top-notch phone that meets and exceeds what I wanted. The Moto G 5 plus is exactly what I needed for my lifestyle and budget.

This phone exceeded my expectations. Long battery life, super fast processor, and a great camera, augment the Moto platform. I give it a thumbs up. Good signal also.

I bought this unlocked phone because I did not want to commit to a 2 year contract. For the price 199.99 it is all I need or want. I have had no problems so far.

The Moto G5 is a great phone for the price. Now is it as good as the top of the line phones? No. But it is less than half the price and for me, it does everything I need. The fingerprint scanner works well, and I really like that. The display is better than I expected. It runs a fairly straightforward version of Android. It is fast and very rarely lags. And battery lasts more than 1 day with some pretty heavy use, while the turbocharger works really well. The only thing that I am not thrilled with is the volume level, but that isn't the end of the world. Great phone, great price. Exceeded my expectations.

This version of the Moto g is awesome! Thanks screen clarity is sharp and it is very fast and easy to use. Many great features for a reasonable amount of money.

Quality and ease of use for $200 and change versus over a grand for a piece of junk with a piece of fruit on it...I will no longer worship at the altar of Jobs and Cook! I have set myself free! So can you! This one for my dear wife who wants tech to serve her like the rest of humanity. She loves it! She doesn't like anything! What is the magic? I still can't believe it! No more brainless ITunes...no more entering a stupid ID three times to do anything...no more waiting forever to download some lousy app that doesn't work...no more updates every other day! Life is for living!

Great camera and battery is lasting for almost 2 days and good phone in good price

Bought this for my teenage grandson. It has all the bells and whistles of a more expensive phone and the picture quality is better than expected from a less expensive phone. I was so impressed I bought one for my husband and myself. What a great value!

This is a lot of phone for a little money. Good battery life and fast. Also can be used on many platforms. Best buy also treated me well on the transaction

I bought 2 of these phones. One each for my wife and I. This phone does everything my Samsung did, but at a much better price. Excellent battery life.

I purchased this phone for my father it is so great and good to use. Good design and much technology sound phone to store more photos and videos. It is good with speaker and music. Battery is also very good for whole usage of phone in a day...

The phone is great but they do not sell any case for this phone. My husband cracked the screen the 1st day & of course they said " sorry" The phone has great features but they should at least offer one case that fits a phone they sell.

I was very happy with my Galaxy S4 phone until I could no longer send or receive phone calls or text messages. After a bit of research I decided to switch over to the Motorola G5 Plus because it filled all the requirements I was looking for at a much better price than if I had just updated my phone through my carrier. It performs all the necessary tasks that I need it to perform and the battery life is incredible. I can go a couple of day before I have to charge it. I'm still learning about the things this phone can do but so far I love it!!

This is an affordable phone for my spouse. I am a moto phone fan and could resist the Motorola - Moto G Plus (5th Gen) 4G LTE with 32GB Memory Cell Phone (Unlocked) smart phone. My spouse is always on the go and deserves a major phone upgrade!

This is a great phone if you're on a budget and don't worry to spend a fortune for a flagship phone. Good camera, good battery life. Can't go wrong.

Got this for my wife cause it's a great phone for the price. The camera is pretty good and that's the only extra she uses her phone to do.
