If you are looking for a phone that won't cost $400+, but still has all of the same functionality this is it. The phone doesn't come cluttered with garbage apps from the service providers and is just as good as an iPhone or Galaxy that my friends have. Bought this phone, brought it to the service provider to activate, and was ready within minutes.

This phone is amazingly fast with the octacore processors, the fingerprint recognition capabilities are very convenient, it has a great camera front and back along with many other AWESOME features. Being an unlocked phone, I don't have to worry about whether or not I like my carrier or not because I can just switch carriers and keep the same phone!

Phone works great in all respects; even as a phone(!), which many seem to forget in the system design. Works much faster than my former G4 Play. Great battery life. Great staff help in the store; made the upgrade easy, transferred all of my contacts, data, photos, and I was able to leave the store with a perfectly functioning phone.

I did a ton of research before buying a new phone. I had an HTC mini. Loved it. It was almost 5 years old and I figured it was time for an upgrade. I bought the Moto g5 plus because of the battery and camera. I went to at&t to activate it. The minute after activation it started popping up the alert message "photo app stop" did this constant for 3 hours. I called best buy and they said to bring it in. Mind you, this phone has only been in use for 3 hours. I spent a ton of wasted time at BB trying to figure out this issues. They couldn't fix it so I purchased the Huawei Mate SE. And so far I really like this phone. As for the Moto g5 Plus, I'm sure it would have been a great phone if I could have actually used it.

This phone performs very closely to it's $600 counterparts. The performance is smooth, and I like that's it's virtually pure android. Battery life is great. The only thing I wish it did was use an always on display like the Moto Z. This will show a notification for a few seconds, then not again until you interact with the phone.

It took some getting used to for my husband who hates change, but crushed his ancient Samsung Galaxy so needed a replacement. It took some time but now he's very happy with it. It doesn't have quite all the bells and whistles as his old phone, but he really didn't utilize those features anyway. For the price, it was a good buy!

With Android 7, and it's quad core processor, this phone seems to do everything effortlessly. Good camera, good screen, within a couple millimeters of the size of my LG G3 it replaced, I like it. However, I believe voice quality of the Moto might not be as good as the LG. Voice communication is still the primary reason I buy a cellphone.

Seems to be a very good unlocked cellphone. Gives flexibility to switch service providers from ATT to Sprint to Verizon to T-Mobile, as it works on CDMA (Sprint/VzW/Total Wireless) or GSM/UMTS(ATT/T-Mobile/Cricket/MetroPCS/others) network. Only missing feature is NFC support and slightly lower battery life than Samsung S7.

This is a good budget phone that works on most MVNOs. Couldn't get it to work on Total Wireless for some reason. Replaced my Nexus 5x with this in order to wait for Pixel2. Pixel2 doesn't look like the phone I was hoping for at that price point. I will keep this as a primary driver until something better comes along.

Got the Moto G 5 Plus to replace my 4 year old phone. I might have to switch from Verizon to ATT because I get marginal cell signal where I live. So this phone will be great because it is unlocked and can be used for different providers. Also my husband bought a Moto 3rd generation from Best Buy last year and he really likes it.

I bought this phone to replace the one my Niece dropped 3 feet to the ground, causing the screen to shatter. Specks are good. Has a full compliment of sensors that make a phone function well. The camera is quality. For the money, it's very hard to beat. I would give it 5 stars if it had a more durable screen.
