This is really a nice phone. It is an android phone and Motorola undates the phone as new versions come out. Memory is easy to update with a larger micro SD card. Being an unlocked phone they just removed my old sim card and put it in this phone. It has a finger print reader to unlock the phone with a backup pattern or code. It has Motorola gestures that allow you to turn on the camera or turn on the flashlight. It has an amazing long life battery and comes with a turbo charger that charges it fast. It is an excellent phone and feature rich for anything $100's more.

This was an upgrade to my LG Phoenix 2. It's a fantastic value - excellent display quality, fast processor and performance (graphics-heavy games run great), good camera (incl. 4K and slow motion) and high end features like metal construction and a fingerprint reader.

I've had my phone for about 2 weeks now and I love it. My first smartphone was a Galaxy S3. After that was a Samsung Galaxy J3 unlocked phone. I hated it. It was stripped of a lot of features. The Moto G5 Plus is a Godsend. I love this phone. After suffering from a stripped phone, it is nice to have a compass, better camera, and the finger print reader. It is missing the feature to use the touchless pay, but I don't use it anyway. The camera is nice, but not near the one in the pricier phones. If you are looking for a phone that has features and not the $500 and up price tag, give this phone a good hard look.

Bought this phone for my wife. She really likes the phone. I really like the phone too. It was very easy to set up. We are on Net10 Verizon. All I had to do is remove the SIM card from her old phone and put in the new phone and it was working. All current updates were done as I set the pj one up. The call quality is great. The camera takes excellent pictures. And it is fast while surfing and using apps. There was a thing on set up that allowed you to move everything from your old phone to the Moto G5 Plus. The transfer was done seconds. Very well built phone and very nice looking.

This phone has everything I need and is easy to use. The larger size makes it great for texting. In addition the Best Buy tech was so helpful it made it that much easier for me to set up the phone and transfer by info from my old phone. Gotta love those geeks.

This is a great phone for someone who doesn't like being tied to a carrier. We bought it unlocked so we could continue using prepaid service, and had zero problems whatsoever. The phone is very responsive, easy to set up, has a great screen, you name it.

This phone is great for a teenager, for the price the software is amazing. they've improved the camera so much from just a couple of years ago. Fingerprint sensor is fast and reliable. One really big omission from this phone is NFC, not that i use credit cards but it's ability not be able to intall "Android pay" app to this phone sucks. with the app you can add loyalty rewards, gift cards ..etc, but this phone does not allow us to add this app. Just my one gripe.

I switched from my old Samsung S5, because all the Samsung Phones were too expensive. The Moto G5 plus had all the features I needed, at half the price. I have had the phone for 2 weeks and all is fine. It is a little different that my old phone, but it only took a day to get used to the new ways. Battery life is exceptional lasting at least 2 days per charge. The screen in bright in moderate sunlight. speed is good. I do find that it turns itself off randomly from time to time and the start up is nearly a minute. A little obnoxious.

Its a great phone at a pretty low price considering that its unlocked, so your not stuck with an expensive contract. Decent screen size and other features. Not the fastest, but i didn't have to spend much (not $500-$800 like high end phones)

This phone is just what I was looking for, got one for the Mrs as well. Good battery, clear phone, good os. Camera is not bad, not great. While I'm sure you can get a better phone for a lot more money, I don't need that. Highly recommended.

I had a Nexus 5 for a long time, needed to upgrade and so glad I bought this phone. I had another inexpensive phone prior and it was just too much bloat. This phone is perfect for me. Good camera, front facing speaker, simple interface, very smooth. And the Moto features are great, hand motions to activate the camera, flashlight, etc. So useful. No bloat and a great price.

The phone is great, I got the lunar gray one, looks fine to me. Is a great size at 5.2 inches, great HD display, is extremely smooth operating which was something I always admired about iPhones iOS even though I have never owned one, just going by my experiences messing with other people's. This is equally as smooth and considering price differences this one knocks it out of the park. Battery life is awesome coming from a Galaxy S3 for almost 4 years. With pretty heavy use I go to bed with plenty life left. The snapdragon 625 processor is plenty fast enough for me, I'm sure even flagships are not really that much faster in everyday use, again consider what you pay compared to a flagship. I'm not a big gamer but I think 3gb of ram as opposed to my 2gb ram would have been nice even though I have not experienced any noticible problem with the 2gb ram. If you are a heavy gamer I'm sure the 64gb 4gb ram model would be better suited for you but most people will be just fine with the 2gb ram model. Not having NFC is a none issue with me. The only thing I miss is the notification light this one does not have. It is not a deal breaker, all you have to do is bump the phone and any notifications you may have will pop up on the home screen without you opening your phone. I paid the $229 because I did not want Amazon adds on my home screen. This is a very fair price for what you are getting compared to other phones costing a lot more but not giving you your money's worth. I have had mine for about a month now with zero issues. Trust me, buy it, you will like it.

I got this for my wife when her old phone finally overloaded on updates. She's not terribly tech-savvy, but this phone was clear and easy to operate. It also has terrific peripherals (like a sharp camera). She's really happy with it!

The phone has many nice features that make it easier to program and use. It is very thin and compact and has nice-looking presentation. The price of the phone was phenomenal when compared to more expensive Apple and android phones.

I bought this for my wife after her OnePlus One dropped off a counter and the screen cracked. We both appreciate the simple clean interface of Android - the Moto G Plus (5th generation) is a great example of a very good design that isn't overbearing or cutesy. Better than functional with a very good camera, lots of power, decent charging capacity - and all for about a third the cost of the flagship phones. Moto has a winner.

As someone who did their research on which phone to buy, I was surprised to find an option that was priced within my spending range that also had the general expected features of more expensive phones. Also having the extra storage space that some phones lack is nice too. The phone itself is pretty straight forward; looks nice, screen quality looks alright, and the fingerprint unlock feature works well. I am enjoying it so far but it may be a little early for me to claim that it works perfectly. Either way, it's worth checking out.
