Decent phone for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought 2 of these for a trip overseas. At first, both phones were great with Google-Fi. About 2 weeks into our trip, my wife's phone kept dropping signal. After hours chatting with Google-Fi support, we decided to just live with it. The phone worked over wi-fi, it was only the cell calls that kept dropping (one time for over 24hrs straight). It didn't matter how many re-sets, restarting, APN delete and reinstalls we did, cell service wouldn't come back. Once we arrived back in the U.S. her phone picked up signal again and hasn't lost it. I think we may change out the sim card with a new one that Google-Fi sent while we were gone. Picture quality is good enough and for the cost of the phone we can't complain. The battery life was surprisingly very good.

He really Likes it. We use the simple mobile plan. Bought the 50 dollar plan with unlimited. Going to switch to 25. So we got the extra rebate. For the price great quality phone. Best Buy phone associates really know there stuff. They are great at getting your phone all set up in a timely fashion, and if there are glitches they seem to handle those really well also just a little longer.

OK budget phone but has unexpected deficiencies

THE BAD - phone is heavier with bigger battery, and personally I would prefer a smaller screen since its only 720p anyway. The combination makes it really cumbersome on my belt case holder. THE UGLY - I was unpleasantly surprised that some of the features are degraded from my Moto G5 Plus, in addition some apps just don't work with this phone, e.g. Kardia Monitor and Omron Blood Pressure devices.
