Truly a good android phone by Motorola. Large built in memory. I added a extra SSD for extra room for my photos. It's unlocked, but I have a Verizon SIM card. The power g has a built-in eSim needing you only have to register it with your carrier. Great option. 5g service automatically on if in your area. You don't need to contact your provider. The finger reader works great. Sound quality is very nice. Clear screen and refresh. Sharp and clear. Responsive touch screen. Fast processing. Awesome camera. Wireless charging and a long lasting battery.

Bought this reasonably priced phone to replace an older Motorola phone that was no longer receiving operating system updates, had insufficient memory and storage space, and was beginning to have some issues. This kept the Moto Actions we were used to, the camera seems great with new features to learn, and overall it seems snappy and responsive. It took the SD card as well, which we were using as the main storage would otherwise fill up, so that all transferred over easily. No problems. Battery capacity is great - it can go a second day without charging with our normal use. The only issue was figuring out that the "power down" function was set instead to "assistant" but we switched that back to the way it was before. So yes, this is a great value and we hope to get quite a bit of life out of it.

The phone comes with good sized screen, good processor to not freeze phone while using apps. Good rear camera with video features like 60fps and 4K. Perfect front camera for low light selfies. The battery is really impressive, I charge it for 1.5 hrs and once charged fully, it runs for 24 hrs of regular use.

8GB RAM, wireless charging, dual SIM (eSim and physical SIM), microSD slot, headphone jack, long lasting battery and Moto gestures (chop for light, twist for camera). I don't use my phone a lot but this has got everything I want in a phone, probably for the next 4 years.

Way better then the Moto g7+ it replaced. Much bigger battery and RAM, so of course it works way faster and multitasks just fine. I get 5G almost everywhere. I only had it a few days before it upgraded from Android 14 to Android 15, So far it has done everything that I have wanted to. I I have not tested the wireless charging with it yet. I wish I has bought this phone sooner.

The Moto G Power is a great phone for everyday use, especially if battery life is important to you. The battery easily lasts multiple days with normal use, which is one of the biggest advantages of this device. The screen is bright and the performance is smooth for common tasks like browsing, messaging, and streaming. It’s also very easy to set up and offers great value for the price. Overall, it’s a reliable smartphone that covers all the basics very well.

When my 14-year-old’s phone suddenly died (cue teen panic), I needed a fast, affordable replacement that wouldn’t leave me regretting the price tag. The Motorola Moto G Power 2024 5G came through like a superhero in Midnight Blue. • Battery life that survives school, TikTok, and forgotten chargers • Fast charging = fewer meltdowns before the bus • Big, bright screen for homework and doomscrolling • Solid cameras for selfies and school projects • Unlocked = no carrier drama, just plug and go It’s stylish enough for a teen, durable enough for real life, and budget-friendly enough for a mom who didn’t plan on buying a phone this week. Highly recommend for emergency upgrades and growing kids who need a reliable device without the flagship price.

This particular Motorola phone is a great budget phone. It comes with plenty of features, storage and a decent enough camera to live with at a price point that makes it a good deal. Phone comes with very little bloatware installed, running mostly Google based apps for its functions. Easy to set up and find your way around on it.

A really, really good mid-level phone at a great price. I've had good luck with Moto phones and when BB was clearing out the 2024 models at bargain prices, I bought this one and so far, I am most pleased with it. It has many great features and functions great, It's just not the best at everything, which many people seem to expect from their phones these days. Battery life is actually very good however not noticeably better than my MotoG 5G. Just slightly disappointed on that point.

Finally, Moto have caught up with other mid-range devices. The camera is more than adequate, I would judge it just below a Pixel 8a, battery life is good. Performance is okay, not as smooth as the Pixel 9a, or the upper mid-range Samsung offerings, but if on sale, it is a great deal.

    Moto G Power 5G (2024)

This phone absolutely delivers on battery life. With the 5,000 mAh cell, I routinely only use 50–60% of the battery in a full day of moderate to heavy use even with 120 Hz enabled. The 6.7" 1080p LCD screen runs at 120 Hz and feels fluid, but it has major limitations outdoors. In direct sunlight, visibility really drops off. If you're expecting standout photos, set your expectations low. In good lighting, it’s acceptable for casual snaps, but low-light and zoomed shots are disappointing. As someone who values long battery life, clean performance, and basic modern features like wireless charging and NFC, I find the Moto G Power 2024 to be a solid pick under $300. However, if you heavily rely on your camera, need crisp outdoor visibility, or expect top-tier software support and future updates, this phone may fall short. It’s a great performer for its price.

This is a nice phone for the price. It's fast and has lots of storage capacity. I chose this one because it has decent storage, wireless charging, accepts a micro SD card and, is network unlocked. It turns out that purchasing this phone without signing up for a service was actually $20 lower than one with a new service. I was not going to sign up for a new service either way. However, the price is usually higher for a phone without. Perhaps an oversight from BestBuy in this case. I don't really like the OS, Android 14. After getting used to it, it works fine. I'm starting to like it. My previous phone is Android 9. This OS lacks the elegance and sexiness that my old phone had, as well as a bunch of features and options, some of which may have directly been from LG. It's like a stripped down version on the face, far less customizable. But as far as outright function, it is so far flawless and very fast. The comparison of the OS above is noticed on PC and Apple as well so, apparently that's just where the industry has gone at this point, cold and generic. For the money I do recommend this phone. It does what it's supposed to and it's inexpensive enough to replace when they decide it's obsolete.
