No sound on majority of calls - 2 brand new Stylus
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought two(2) identical Moto G Stylus 2021 phones. Both brand new at Best Buy. Everything was fine with the phone (camera, internet, texting, pictures, etc.), until we started making phone calls & getting phone calls. Out of 10 phone calls on each identical phone, 7 calls had people on the other end saying "hello? hello? are you there?" or "hello? you're cutting in and out really bad". On several calls, the people hung up because they heard "silence" and thought WE hung up on them. We've had, and currently have, people using Samsung's, iPhone's, LG's in this house and they have no call problems. Our old LG Stylus & our old Samsung Galaxy were the phones we were trying to replace, and we are now back to using them again because they never had call issues. We opened a case with Best Buy, and also a case with Motorola. Motorola had three(3) calls with us, checking the Settings on both phones. All Settings were properly done. We had a 3-way call with Motorola, our service provider, and ourselves, and everything checked out clean for the phone & the service. Motorola said they've gotten other complaints from other customers about this same exact issue. Motorola said they were aware of the issue. Our service provider tested everything for us, and could not find one thing wrong with the service (we have strong reception here; we're not in the mountains, we don't have trees around us, and nothing is "blocking" our house). We returned both phones to Best Buy. As I said earlier, we're back on our old phones and have not had any call issues. Family, friends, workers come and go in the house, and none of their phones have issues, either. I Google'd "Moto G Stylus 2021 no sound on calls", and read reviews on multiple sites from other people having the same exact issue.

Motorola's Come Back

Maybe a decade or two ago when Motorola was hitting popularity with the Motorola RAZR. I can say now that even this Mid-Range $300 Phone is very well made and is a nice piece of tech. The stylus is fast & responsive, they've also packed it with tons of features and Google system software.

I don't like the lasted update on a few things. The screen shot was easier holding the power button. Now you have to hold volume and power or take out the stylus. The After market case I got fits great on it.
